What a week it has been.

Tuesday's breaking news about the unstable building across from our studios was a reminder of just how quickly our team can jump into action to tell a story.

Just two hours into our coverage, we had to evacuate our studios and office building, pivoting to broadcasting from the streets for hours with only the equipment our crews were able to grab on the way out.

More than 11 hours of live coverage later, I'm incredibly proud of everyone who stepped up. A huge thank you to everyone involved —including colleagues who came in on their days off or took on entirely different roles—to make sure our viewers never missed a beat.

It's moments like these that remind me why local journalism matters. by @danmannarinotv
