Florida Room V: High Summer brings together a collection of artists whose works encompass functional sculpture, objects, lighting, textiles, and experimental design that explore ideas of warmth, leisure, color, and a sense of place. Through a wide range of materials, techniques, and perspectives, the exhibition reflects not only on the feeling of a season, but more so on an atmosphere, memory, and way of experiencing the world.

Each participating artist and designer approaches these themes in a distinct way, creating works built to be lived with as much as looked at, balancing function and experimentation while celebrating materiality and craft.

Featuring works from: Clay Brown, Ana Amelia Batlle Cabral, Nikki Erichsen, Jisu Han Jung, Alison Layton, Jonathan Mergele, MONAD Studios, Nicole Nadeau, Daniel Ochoa, Zeynep Satik, Silt Studios, Sam Stewart, Georgina Treviño, Heath Wagoner, Aaron Young. by @danny.ochoa
