At the top of the rickhouse O at @bardstownbourbonco today! We’re exploring secondary finishes from every corner of the world 🌎

The temps have dropped in Kentucky, but we’re seeing 15-20 degrees warmer on the 7th floor, creating a longer aging season with greater secondary barrel extraction 🥃

The flavors are coming together, 2027 will be wild 🚀

It’s been an amazing journey exploring how bourbon and rye can aged with global single malt. Ireland, India, Japan, and Scotland, I love these four releases and the people around the world that make it happen.

1. 2022 - Fercullen - 21 yr. Irish whiskey blended with aged bourbon. 102.4 proof. Fun fact: The Irish whiskey was a blend of four different finishes - Marsala, Amarone, PX, Moscatel!

2. 2024 - Amrut. Rye aged in Indian whisky barrels that traveled from Bangalore to Bardstown, then blended with cherry-forward bourbon. 110 proof. Fun Fact: The climate of Bangalore ages around 3-4 times quicker than standard!

3. 2025 - Mars. Blend of bourbon and Mars whisky from Komagatake and Tsuniki. 109.8 proof. Fun Fact: The Japanese whisky was shipped to Bardstown in tote, then added directly into the bourbon barrels to age together for a year.

4. 2026 - Lochs of Jura. Blend of bourbon and rye finished in Scottish single malt barrels for 32 months. 104 proof. Fun fact: The Scottish single malt barrels were a mix of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry.

Enjoy these 🥃

These two make the world go round!

I’ll do a lot of tastings and talks this year and have a blast presenting @bardstownbourbonco, @greenriverdistillingco, and our partner brands. Behind the scenes, Amanda Miller and Jake Sulek are coordinating product development, single barrel, vip, vintage library, and most importantly, bringing teams together!

Next time you’re on site, get an autograph from Amanda and Jake!

Had a 🚀 week with our partner @stetsonbourbon launching in NYC and Austin 🥃 Awesome to connect with so many team members and great whiskey experts! Also, got called “Cowboy” by the flight attendant

@shakeygraves crushed it at @arlynstudios (home of Sublime platinum, brought back some memories 😂)

@keenssteakhouse always delivers and wonderful to hang with Julia Higgins @jdflicker @noah_rothbaum and @kirkmiller25 🥃 Shoutout @leahderton and crew for putting it all together.

Look for this fantastic bourbon that blends @bardstownbourbonco and @greenriverdistillingco in Texas and on @seelbachsspirits. Awesome pour, get a hat too while you’re at it. taken in Austin, Texas by @dannybardstown

What a day in bourbon! Celebrated the 10 yr. anniversary of @itsbourbonnight with @michtersmasterdistiller, an awesome crew, and a legendary open bar. See if you can spot the @bardstownbourbonco gem, hint - the cap doubles as a murder weapon. Cheers to Sara and Chad 🥃

Before the party, drilled some upcoming projects with Pixar Chief and creative genius, Pete Docter. Stay tuned!

Did you know 20 barrels of @greenriverdistillingco bourbon were traded for an interest in a Colorado gold mine? J.W. McCulloch made the trade in 1917 making Green River the most expensive bourbon ever sold 🥃

I had to hunt down a mine with a pour of Green River bourbon in Colorado to celebrate 🪏🏆🥃
