@laurynmccabe11 scores her first-ever senior goal for Bohemians in a 2–1 defeat against Shamrock Rovers. At just 18 years old, Katie McCabe’s younger sister is already following in her footsteps, representing Ireland at youth level. Lauryn began her youth career at Kilnamanagh AFC before joining Shamrock Rovers’ youth setup. She moved to Bohemians in 2024 and has a bright future ahead of her. Could we one day see the sisters playing alongside each other for the same team?

I made my way to Dalymount Park for the League of Ireland Women’s Premier Division Dublin derby. It was an amazing match featuring three goals

This was the final match of the season, with Shamrock Rovers and Bohemians finishing fourth and eighth, respectively. Both teams will be looking to improve their standings next season.

Meanwhile, Athlone Town successfully defended their league title and will be aiming to retain it again next season. The League of Ireland Women’s Premier Division season runs from March to October.

I had a fantastic time experiencing the League of Ireland Women’s Premier Division and look forward to attending another match in the near future!

🏟️ London City Lionesses vs Brighton & Hove Albion - Alexia Putellas scored her first-ever goal for London City Lionesses, while Lucia Corrales netted the second to secure a 2–0 victory for the Lionesses. London City move up to second in the table with nine points, just behind Manchester City, who have 12 points.

It was my first visit to Bromley, and it turned out to be one of the best matches I’ve been to in terms of atmosphere. If you get the chance, I definitely recommend visiting the stadium, as you’ll get a great experience. It was very lively and incredibly well supported by the fans.

I’d love to come back to the stadium in the future for another London City Lionesses match. After the game, I managed to get a couple of selfies and autographs, including one with two-time Ballon d’Or Féminin winner Alexia Putellas.

⚽️ Chelsea vs Arsenal – Chelsea were victorious over rivals Arsenal with a narrow 1–0 win. Alyssa Thompson scored the only goal of the game, helping Chelsea secure a crucial victory. Chelsea climbed into third place with 10 points, while Arsenal sit in seventh place with five points.

This game will also be remembered for Katie McCabe, as she faced her former club Arsenal for the first time since her move to Chelsea during the summer.

It was great to be back at Stamford Bridge for another huge Barclays WSL match. The atmosphere was amazing as always, and I would love to be back soon for another game here.

After the match, I managed to get a picture with my favourite player @maika.059 and she also signed my Maika Japanese jersey, which I’m very happy about! @veerle.buurman also signed my programme. I also managed to meet @lexi.potter and @beckyspencer91 after the game.

🏟️ I had an incredible weekend attending three WSL matches!

It all began with the 1:30 PM kickoff between Charlton Athletic and Manchester City. It was my first visit to The Valley, and I had a lot of fun. After the match, I headed to Hayes Lane Stadium in Bromley to watch London City Lionesses take on Brighton & Hove Albion.

I was really impressed by the atmosphere at Hayes Lane, and it is easily one of my top three WSL stadiums I have ever visited. After the match, I was incredibly lucky to meet some of the players, including two-time Ballon d’Or Féminin winner Alexia Putellas.

The following day, I made my way to Stamford Bridge for a crucial WSL clash between Chelsea and Arsenal. It was great to be back at the Bridge, and the match certainly didn’t disappoint. After the game, I got to meet Veerle Buurman, Becky Spencer and Lexi Potter. Maika Hamano also stopped by and signed my Maika jersey, which made me so happy!

It was an incredible weekend, and I can’t wait to come back and attend more WSL matches in the future

🎥 Manchester United vs Leeds United — It was a great experience attending the friendly between two established English sides. A record crowd of 82,000 fans witnessed the event, making it the biggest football match ever staged in Ireland. I look forward to returning to Croke Park again!

🏟️ Manchester United vs Leeds United. An historic pre-season friendly took place at Croke Park between two long-established English football clubs, Manchester United and Leeds United. The match ended 1–1 after 90 minutes, with Joshua Zirkzee opening the scoring for Manchester United before Brenden Aaronson equalised shortly afterwards for Leeds United. The game then went straight to a penalty shootout, where Manchester United emerged victorious with a 5–4 win. The Red Devils will hope to carry this momentum into the new season. Leeds United put in a brave performance but ultimately fell just short in the shootout.

It was a sell-out crowd, with 82,000 fans in attendance for this huge pre-season fixture. Croke Park is the biggest stadium in Ireland, and it rarely hosts football matches. This was the first football match played here since 2009, when the Republic of Ireland faced France in a FIFA World Cup qualifier. It is an amazing stadium with an incredible atmosphere, and I would personally love to see it host a major event such as the UEFA Champions League Final. I really hope to return to Croke Park one day to witness another great sporting occasion.
