Our little buddy. So snuggly. So much personality and love in a tiny frame. You brought us so much joy.

Saying goodbye was one of the hardest things we’ve ever had to do.

All we have now are memories. Thankfully we have lots of great ones to remember.

Joy. Love. Gratitude. Those are the words that best describe the past eight days in São Miguel. Reconnecting with family and seeing my mom and aunts reconnect after so many years apart brought so much joy, and being able to line up the trip with my Aunt’s 80th birthday made all the planning and organizing over the past 7 months worth it. The generosity and love of my family members who we reconnected with after literally decades was incredible. And everyone was so happy to be together for this trip. Thank you Lisbon for a memorable 3 days. We packed a lot in, including a day trip to the Our Lady of Fatima sanctuary, an afternoon at the beach, and a Fado dinner. The highlight was definitely seeing the smiles on my mother and aunt’s faces as they got to experience travel as tourists for the first time. ❤️🇵🇹 taken in Lisbon, Portugal by @danointo

This year Pride hit a bit differently. With everything going on in the world, and specifically south of us, my energy went towards giving back to the 2SLGBT+ communities through fundraising and participating in the @priderunto on Saturday, and to spending quality time with my husband on Sunday.
