Retirement - Good Living ! After almost 21 years of adventures together Fred gets to retire at an amazing Home in Santa Ynez . Here’s some highlights of his new space . With challenged lower front legs and feet over the years , some challenged recoveries , some awesome trail rides in Griffith Park , Hanson Dam and San Luis Obispo it’s time to let him graze and be a happy retired horse , short rides , long walks and plenty of horse company and friends . 23 is looking good on Fred . taken in Santa Ynez, California by @dansternau

Another great boat trip on the Freedom @morrobaywhalewatching , saw several playful whales and a few on a travel mission . But this guy wanted to put on a show . by @dansternau

Last Saturday I went on my 1st Pelagic Bird boat excursion with the crew of @morrobaywhalewatching . They took the freedom out with a boat load of bird watchers and it was a great day spotting a variety of ocean birds and a few Humpback Whales . Saw a large mass of Velella Velella’s floating about 15 miles out at sea , looked like they’d fill 1/2 a football field . Future Pelagic tours are in the works . taken in Morro Bay, California by @dansternau
