RASA x ONE:MORE present Goldie (@mrgoldie) b2b dBridge (@dbridge) | Saturday, 3 October

On Saturday, 3 October, we are hosting a literal piece of electronic music history on the Floor. Two absolute titans. Two defining architects of Jungle and Drum & Bass. One booth.

Goldie B2B dBridge.

Goldie isn't just a DJ; he is the cultural icon who brought the raw, breakbeat underground of the UK to the entire globe. The founder of the legendary Metalheadz imprint, he is the gold-toothed pioneer who gave D&B its soul, its swagger, and its undeniable edge.

Going toe-to-toe with him is dBridge: the mastermind behind Exit Records, Bad Company UK, and the Autonomic movement. A true sonic innovator, he has spent over three decades completely rewiring the emotional and rhythmic limits of 170 BPM.

This is Metalheadz (@metalheadzmusic) colliding with Exit Records (@exitrecordsuk). This is a massive, incredibly rare back-to-back between two visionaries who shaped the global bass landscape, bringing their full, heavy weight directly to our space.

A historic night needs the absolute best foundation. Guiding the room on the mic is The North Quarter’s (@thenorthquarter) Dan Stezo (@danstezo), laying down his signature 90s hip-hop cadence over the breaks to keep the energy completely locked in.

Setting the frequency are two undeniable pillars of Singapore’s bass culture. Kiat (@kiat_sg | @syndicatesg), a true cornerstone of Southeast Asia’s underground who has shared stages with Goldie himself, joins forces with Nez Senja (@nezsenja | @revisionmusicsg), who has been fiercely championing the unadulterated sounds of Jungle for well over a decade.

The bass is going to rattle your chest, and the energy is going to be untouchable.

Doors open & Music starts from 22:00 | Tickets are live now via the link in our bio. taken in RASA Space by @danstezo

The mountain does not care about your plans. It does not care about your grief, your timeline, or your five stages. It just sits there, honest and indifferent, while you walk through it.

I wrote about trekking the Annapurna Base Camp trail in Nepal, losing my mother, and what impermanence actually feels like when it stops being a concept and starts being your life.

Only a few more hours until we take over @aer_hkg with a night of bass driven soul music.

A regular at DnB events in Hong Kong, you know he's going add a special flavour to the night.

@danstezo one of the main men behind the mic at @thenorthquarter , with the legendary 60min mixtapes with @thelenzman .

This time he's teaming up with long time friend, @submorphics , for a 2 hour journey into liquid by @danstezo

Papañca. The Pali word for mental proliferation. One thought becomes ten. Ten become a hundred. The Buddha mapped this process 2,500 years ago in the Madhupiṇḍika Sutta, the Honey Ball Discourse.

“I am.” From that single perception: “I am here,” “I am like this,” “I am bad,” “I am good,” “I might be,” “I will be.” Eighteen forms of craving, all sprouting from one seed.
