On Saturday, 3 October, we are hosting a literal piece of electronic music history on the Floor. Two absolute titans. Two defining architects of Jungle and Drum & Bass. One booth.

Goldie B2B dBridge.

Goldie isn't just a DJ; he is the cultural icon who brought the raw, breakbeat underground of the UK to the entire globe. The founder of the legendary Metalheadz imprint, he is the gold-toothed pioneer who gave D&B its soul, its swagger, and its undeniable edge.

Going toe-to-toe with him is dBridge: the mastermind behind Exit Records, Bad Company UK, and the Autonomic movement. A true sonic innovator, he has spent over three decades completely rewiring the emotional and rhythmic limits of 170 BPM.

This is Metalheadz (@metalheadzmusic) colliding with Exit Records (@exitrecordsuk). This is a massive, incredibly rare back-to-back between two visionaries who shaped the global bass landscape, bringing their full, heavy weight directly to our space.

A historic night needs the absolute best foundation. Guiding the room on the mic is The North Quarter’s (@thenorthquarter) Dan Stezo (@danstezo), laying down his signature 90s hip-hop cadence over the breaks to keep the energy completely locked in.

Setting the frequency are two undeniable pillars of Singapore’s bass culture. Kiat (@kiat_sg | @syndicatesg), a true cornerstone of Southeast Asia’s underground who has shared stages with Goldie himself, joins forces with Nez Senja (@nezsenja | @revisionmusicsg), who has been fiercely championing the unadulterated sounds of Jungle for well over a decade.

The bass is going to rattle your chest, and the energy is going to be untouchable.

So long, old friend.

I'll miss you so much, but I'm so glad you're no longer in any pain.

Thank you for 20 years of friendship, collaborations, travels, epic gigs, banter, remixes, mentorship, selflessness, unfiltered feedback and advice.

Those of us who were fortunate enough to be in your immediate orbit during your final days will forever be in awe of how you carried yourself in the face of death, continuing to create and sign the most beautiful music, and push forward the next generation of artists.

I've never seen so much love poured out for anyone in my life.

What a legacy you leave behind.
