Some of the most important mentors in your life may never know your name.

Grateful for the opportunity to see @ryanholiday for The @dailystoic Live at the historic Redford Theatre.

I was introduced to The Obstacle Is the Way around 2018, when I was recovering and rebuilding my life from scratch after being diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis and having my entire large intestine removed.

My experiences made it easy to fall into a victim mindset with a negative outlook on the world. Stoicism showed me that it’s not what happens to us in life, but how we respond.

Step by step, from moment to moment, it’s a daily choice and opportunity to show up as a better version of yourself and inspire those around you by example.

🦁 It’s showing up with courage when you don’t feel like it.

🔥 It’s having the discipline to keep going when life feels the heaviest.

⚖️ It’s living with integrity, doing the right thing, and being there for your community.

☯️ It’s looking within to know yourself and distinguish what’s right from wrong.

We don’t get to choose the cards that we’ve been dealt, but it’s our duty to play them well.

I am so happy and grateful that I saw @jen_gottlieb at A to B Con 3 last weekend! 🙏

I’ve been in her Super Connector Mastermind with @chriswinfield for about a year and am amazed by how much there is still to learn!

Here are a few of my biggest takeaways:

1 ) Speak your dreams into existence. Collaboration opens doors when you speak your dreams. Keep talking about what you want to do. Opportunities are coming.

2 ) Finish what you start — you can go an inch in many things or mile a few things.

3 ) Do you want to say you did it or you should have done it? Discomfort is temporary, but growth is permanent

4 ) The subconscious mind doesn’t know the difference between thought and reality. Program yourself and your future. Cultivate the identity you want and be it now. You don’t have to wait!

5 ) Don’t be afraid to be seen as a beginner. Every day is a new life and a chance to get out, be seen, and grow. Start before you’re ready!

I hope these help you too 😇 Dan Stowell and Jen Gottlieb taken in UConn Stamford by @danstowell3

I met @brandongaydorus in February 2023 and he told me a poem at just the right moment in my life that changed how I think and approach everything 🧠💥

I thought I was good.
Until I saw great.
It was then when I understood,
What achieving my dreams will take.

Soon after, I had the chance to shadow @heathermonahan at @nbc studios in NYC, and I saw greatness that day 🔥

Ever since, I have been aligning myself with great people who are doing what I want to do and my life has exponentially gotten greater and greater!

Thank you Brandon for pouring your wisdom into me at Toronto Speaker School, A to B Con 3 this weekend, and for all of the conversations we have had 🙏 I am truly grateful for our friendship and am excited to keep on chasing greatness with you 🚀 A to B Con 3 with Brandon Gaydorus and hosted by Warm Heart Life taken in UConn Stamford by @danstowell3

I‘ve been leaning into my faith more and more and I’m so grateful for God’s guidance to connect me with so many amazing people 🙏

Thank you @amberlylagomotivation for hosting the Unstoppable Success Summitt 🙌🔥

One of my biggest takeaways was that I already had the answers, but my confidence and conviction about myself were lacking. I had to own that realization and dig deep to identify where these feelings originated.

It was uncomfortable addressing the story that has held me back for years, but now I feel liberated with a new sense of confidence that’s carrying me into new levels of commitment and action 🌞

Thank you for the lessons and blessings!

@spartan 10k Race in the books 🔥

Getting through this race was actually easier than my first 5k race last year, but I've added 20lbs of muscle since and fortified my resilience muscle.

I love getting in the arena to challenge myself and tap into my highest potential! The @spartanrace brings out the best in you because you are forced to dig deep within to spark something inside that you wouldn't normally go searching for on your own. Your inner fire 🔥

Iron sharpens iron. Tough times don't last, tough people do.

Drop some 🔥🔥🔥 below if you want to run with us next year!

What a weekend filled with unforgettable memories, nuggets, and good people ❤️‍🔥

Special thank you to @craigsiegel_cls for the invitation and believing in me more than I believed in myself. I learned so much from you @jen_gottlieb @heathermonahan and the amazing community you created!! We are all here to grow and support each other and that what's makes this one of a kind 💫

This past week has been life changing and I am a new man. I am ready to step into my greatness and own that shit. Now is my time.

I realized that you don't have to keep waiting to step into what you truly want. You can have it all.

Anything is possible 🌃
