“Again” a solo exhibition featuring work by Danya Parvin
The opening reception will take place during the WeHo Art Crawl this Saturday, August 1st, 6pm - 9pm
Open Gallery at the Packing Plant
507 Hagan Street

I do not recall this path that you have brought me to
Though everyday i take it, you show me something new
Yesterday a flower, today a Black-Eye-Susan
Though she’s the same, my eyes have changed in their time and season.
Creating is the overflow of curiosity.
The more I learn about the natural world, the more I feel compelled to create. These paintings grew from that cycle of noticing, learning, and returning with new eyes. They are less about flowers than they are about learning to see them.
Each painting tells the same story in a new way.
Translating an ordinary experience differently.
Again and again.

Danya Parvin is an interdisciplinary artist, photographer, and small business owner living and working in Tennessee. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design from Lipscomb University and is the founder of Garden Escapist Jewelry and Danya Parvin Studio. Across disciplines, her work is inspired by curiosity and a deep appreciation for the natural world, encouraging viewers to slow down and notice the beauty woven into everyday landscapes. taken in The Packing Plant by @danyafaith
