It’s not China- it’s Chinatown ❤️🐲- for the last 5 years I’ve been on a plant medicine journey🌱🐸- Covid, years of production, being on the road, kids, menopause left me feeling tired and low- I had to find an answer. Since 2021 I’ve been “doing the work” 💥unpacking memories of family and ancestors while sitting with teachers, guides and doing deep transformative therapies. “We are not healers, we are mirrors, we are here to help you remember who you are. ” I liked that idea. It’s not easy to start over -new life new place new thoughts - How do you change everything everyone? - break habits commit to exercise and diet from people from media? It’s hard work. It takes effort to eat well or get enough sleep. I’m always looking for hacks. Since I started this journey, I’ve been working with practitioners from Brazil Hawaii, California, Arizona- my good friend Eliza Rae has a agricultural land on the North Shore of Oahu that she has been developing into “farm to table” detox retreat facility, Art and Wellness center.” Turns out A LOT of people don’t even know where food comes from, or how it grows.” She and I are working together on opening a collective /clubhouse in Chinatown. Last month we were in Arizona at the facility that specializes in one on one bio electric and deep journey for pain both physical and mental. We almost ready to open our place in LA - so many great teachers and friends have reached out. But we are still looking for workers- we need sales and practitioners in massage breathing bowls. It’s not China- or Chinatown it’s Arizona. It’s Sacred Trip Sacred Beauty 🐸🐲🪴🥳 @santisouk_p and her husband Kirk are such amazingly friends and hosts. I just wanna stay in this warm bubble. Having fun, doing my work, setting new goals, dreaming. Happy Sunday everybody! When you live in Hawaii you remember to sit on the beach - to eat well fresh foods and swim in the ocean. When you are working and in the city in the Matrix it’s easy to forget to do these things- my skin is literally transparent like “interview with the vampire”😅. Honestly - when is the last time you sat in the sun or at a park or beach doing nothing? Yah- me too. I do this journey once a year. It’s nice to cleanse and purge and check in. Beforehand it’s important to talk out loud to set intentions to purge bad thoughts a bad people - while remembering to to laugh and not take yourself too seriously. Today I’m making a list of things I want to fast from for the next 30days - like certain media and platforms…also rich and sweet foods wines and spirits. I find the cleaner I am from processed foods the better the medicine works.. I like this time of preparation and juicing. Thinking dreaming. When doing medicines like Kambo 🐸 🍄🌱 bio electric. I want to add to my diet things like coconuts greens and blue algae - spirulina. For women it’s important that we drain our lymphatic systems and do things to help lower our cortisol level and balance out our hormones. It’s not China- it’s Arizona. Soaking up the sun☀️ swimming in the pool. I’m so grateful to have found this magical safe place and these practitioners. @santisouk_p and her husband Kirk do guided one on one medicine journeys. Santi specializes in people with deep traumas both physical and mental material and spiritual. As a couple they host plant medicine practitioners from all over the world. I always help when I can. I started my plant medicine journey in 2021. During Covid I managed to lose my home, my job, my family, my partner, my dog, my horse, my WAY. Life had lost its meaning. I had no idea where/what to do. I felt frozen, like I was going to die…but then of course, I lived. The thing about “starting over” or recovering from intense trauma or financial loss or betrayal is -it takes time. The medicine takes time to integrate. 5 years later- I’m so happy - I’m single- I’m free- I’m in touch with my kids (EB). I’m working and doing things I want to do. 🥳 one of best parts of healing and finding myself, is now is that I’m feeling better, I’m able to help others. It’s not China - it’s Arizona 😜- year of the horse. Im spending time at the facility @sacred_trip_massage_ with my plant medicine family🪴. Working in the garden and on my tinctures and herbal remedies. We are about to do a parasite cleanse and then Kambo. First things first the fast- which is actually slow. Time to go off processed foods and sugars - next couple days of soups and juice. Time to put devices down and think deep organic thoughts. Feeling grateful - feeling love❤️. Trying to keep cool in 112 degree weather. Keeping my socials short. It’s not China- it’s Chinatown ❤️🐲- Yes I DO work in every department- especially with “artist direct” jobs. Turns out-when the artist is directing and the has to switch to performing- someone has to be running things 😜 and in this case a lot of hats are being worn. 🤠 I just finished shooting this project with @angelbabyview - it was for his record release. The crew was tiny-but mighty. @rolandoroblesdp led the 6 camera team to Victory!!! What people lacked in experience, they made up for with passion and hard work… I love helping next generation of film. I said yes to this job cause I loved the music- I loved creative too - a live play 🔥 the performance was amazing. I enjoyed all the great influences of so many iconic artists featured within. The show plays about 1.5 hours with a full cast of characters and dancers. The cast rehearsed for weeks. “Angel” the star is just like the name. Beautiful soulful passionate. He’s 6’4” eyes of blue- a force to be reckoned with. The album glides through a life journey. It’s a fun ride that grabs you and doesn’t let go. Check it out DM me if you wanna know more. Feeling grateful and lazy today. Finally felt could make a post. *I love in my new life. I can just do what I want- work with who I want…be in whatever department I want. It’s so good (hee). Happy Fathers Day - Thinking of my dad and all of our fun adventures. 🎥🎬❤️👠👠🌈 My dad was my hero🥳. Im so grateful. Listening to our music while I’m going through photos in my massive collection of treasures. Yay. I’m MISS Dicky so much …all of his amazing life lessons on and off set. His laugh. I will share one right here. “When you are working don’t wish for time off- when you have time off don’t wish for work. Good people will always work. Stay present. Remember, you put your name on everything you do.” I have hundreds of Dicky stories. I journaled every job I ever did. my dad could not read and write above a 3rd grade level- I would read the script out loud on an old recording device and label each cassette. I would make notes of all the sets and locations diving interiors and exteriors and driving shots. We would use these legal pads that were yellow and I would print everything in big letters and then go over what I wrote while we drove in the grip truck - the crew cab had a cassette player and he would play the tape of the script. He loved listening to these tapes and hearing my notes about characters and lighting and ideas. It’s not China- it’s Chinatown❤️🐲 Happy Saturday - I love the vintage vortex -I feel it’s my job to find art and special things new homes. My mom was an antique collector - on weekends we would go to auctions and sales. My mom was a history buff as well. She knew so much about furniture and all the eras and styles patterns and building techniques. Check this cool find out. Vintage Fleetwood record player and stereo console. It’s made of walnut- it’s in amazing condition- it’s very heavy - but everything in it works- **we are thinking of selling it? I’m wondering what it’s worth? I had a great time working with Jas and his producer/ creative team. I love getting to do what I love🎬🎥. It’s not China- it’s Chinatown❤️🐲Its time for change. I really don’t like/understand politics. I’ve never even voted or felt the call to vote. For years I felt safe in California- like nothing could stop us we were “cool”. I was raised with this idea that no matter who won an election it would be “OK”. I casually thought, It’s just a four year period of a certain ideaology a kind of yin yang up down. Pffffff- I never even watched the news on television until Covid. I trusted the process. I’m unable to process a vote as a choice between life and death, good versus evil, God vs the Devil. I don’t remember a time growing up where a vote could get you kicked out of your family or your friend circle or a restaurant, yet here we are now. Me? I LOVE LA. Turns out I love @spencerpratt too!!! I love all his videos❤️🥳 what a breath of fresh air. I don’t care if he was a reality star- we had the Terminator and Regan. A person has a whole new perspective when they lose everything -(I know) when you realize there’s no one coming to help or rebuild or give any explanation as to why. I went through the Hawaii fires and then came for LA for the next burn. My friends in both places still have no homes or answers. So many businesses and companies closing - some people are just moving away. I’m third generation Los Angeles. My kids are fourth. I have no family to go home to in some other state. I didn’t move here from somewhere. I went to the same high school my parents met at in the valley. I believed that my career in Hollywood would lead to a cool retirement, teaching videos and hanging out watching my kids make movies-ha. I’m gutted that Hollywood is no longer the film capitol of the world. I know my friends are gonna get mad at this post because they I think we’re supposed to be supporting supporting Gavin and Karen. But I want things to be different. No more zombie apocalypse- let’s help people get off drug’s. Help the animals that are being abused. Can we make downtown safe to walk around?
