Please be praying for Sergey and Vika tonight as they travel back into Ukraine. They are in Poland now after saying goodbye to our team here yesterday...

We have received reports that a major attack on Kyiv may be planned for tonight, with bridges and critical infrastructure at risk. Please pray for God’s protection over Kyiv and the people of Ukraine and specifically over Sergey and Vika as their train travels from Poland back into Ukraine.

On their way out, their train had to stop and everyone had to get off because of drones and alarms. (As seen in video above) This is the reality they are returning to.

This winter is predicted to be one of the most difficult yet since the war began. Sergey and Vika have asked for our increased support, because with increased attacks comes increased opportunity for the Church to step in to care for people, meet urgent needs, and love others well.

We especially need your help with our Emergency Heating Fund as power grids and energy sources continue to be targeted. When families lose electricity and heat in the middle of a Ukrainian winter, these resources can become lifesaving.

As difficult as things may feel here at home, may we never lose sight of the reality that life is far, far harder for so many people around the world.

Thank you for praying. Thank you for giving sacrificially. Thank you for continuing to stand with Ukraine and showing the love of Jesus to people in their greatest time of need. ❤️🇺🇦

Our dear "babushkas"/grandmas in Ukraine face so many challenges but one of the most important ones is acquiring firewood for the brutal Ukrainian winter. The war in Ukraine has caused prices to soar which makes that challenge virtually impossible. Each babushka only receives a $50-$80 stipend per month from the Ukrainian government and the cost for a truckload of wood has risen to $500. The Glow Mission is compelled to love on these often forgotten beautiful souls living in this remote area of Ukraine. We have 22 grandmas who are in need of wood.

I LOVE any chance to be with my Ukrainian family...ESPECIALLY if they are cooking!! 😍❤️🇺🇦 THANK YOU, girls, for the DELICIOUS dinner...and for inviting me to see my dear heroic brother @maxfetisov . 🎉 BIG BIRTHDAY SHOUT-OUT to someone who has become incredibly important to us… Joseph Almani, aka "GLOW Joe!" ❤️🔥🎉

Joe is one of the newer members of our GLOW team, but from the very beginning, he has been ALL IN. In fact, Joe was pouring his heart into GLOW before he ever officially came to work with us. His dedication to this mission has truly blown us away. ☺️

Joe is highly creative, pays incredible attention to detail, has amazing work ethic, can speak in any accent 😅 and most importantly, has a deep love and passion for ministry to children and for God. ❤️ He brings so much heart, energy, excellence, and FUN to our team, and we are incredibly blessed to have him!

"Oh the faces you'll know!!" - 😍 Heart full over a quick 2 night trip to Dallas...instigated by a need to meet my dear GLOW team member, Philip from India...I got to cram 6 meetings w/precious people to me into this time...friends from college (Jakie & Bill!!!), Ukraine/hosting (Samantha/Heather (not pictured 😅) & Oksana!!! 😍, QUESTlife/favorite teacher(PAIGE!!! 🥰) and PHILIP!!! 😊 Ah!!! What fun last minute trip planning can be!! I LOVE my people ...and such a joy to get to reconnect with people while "working." 10 years ago today I landed in Ukraine for the first time. ❤️🇺🇦 My friend Wendy & I were just 2 mamas compelled by love for our Ukrainian kids…we had to see their world and let them know we were committed to them as family. Little did we know how our hearts would expand to love a whole orphanage of kids…then expand even more to love a nation of people who would come to face the unimaginable.

I’ve been on countless trips to Ukraine since then…lived there for most of a year before the invasion, and traveled into that beloved country of mine 6 times since the war started.

Little did I know 10 years ago what God was preparing my heart and life for…so many tears…so many friendships and relationships of eternal importance…so much LOVE!!! 😭❤️

My eyes fill with tears as I sit in another plane today… (very short trip…not to Ukraine 😅) remembering who I was, landing in Kyiv a decade ago…

That Dar had no idea what was to come or become of her life & heart.

Despite the pain, labor & difficulties, I would not alter my path or trade my course in for an easier one.

Ukraine, you changed me, strengthened me, “toughened me up” and prepared me for a world full of challenges…turned possibilities…and opportunities…to go love others well.

Thank you, God, for giving me Ukraine…now forever in my heart…always in my prayers. 🙏❤️🇺🇦

May peace and a new day come very soon. 🙏
