POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Not the type of story I wanted to celebrate being featured on the @nytimes for the first time, but nonetheless it’s important to spread the awareness about what’s going on. I’ve worked on @thegreenroomnj every single day for almost 7 years. Tirelessly, endlessly, but nothing has ever made me feel more fulfilled, more rewarded for doing things the right way. All the memories, the good and the bad, are being honored during this moment. My team and I have opened up 12 locations. Not all of them survived, mistakes were certainly made, towns sold false promises. But, we learned to enjoy the ups and the downs while we anticipated this type of news. Defend what you love and celebrate those who know a good thing when they see it, even if they don’t see it nearly enough. Come visit us at @thegreenroomnj before things might have to change. HOBOKEN WE NEED YOUR HELP!📣
The Green Room requires a new license to continue our operations that we previously didn’t need. The catch is that the municipality won’t support us in receiving one.
We’ve been here since May of 2019. Long before any of the dispensaries in town were even a thought.
Although many were skeptical about a hemp store opening in town, The Green Room paved the path to show legislators and local law enforcement that a store like ours could be a community leader. We’ve been setting an example for almost 8 years now in a totally unregulated industry. Now, WE NEED YOUR HELP‼️

Upcoming council meetings in town this month are 10/7 and 10/21 at 7pm and we need you, our loyal supporters and customers to sign up for public comment and tell the Hoboken council what The Green Room means to you. We need just five minutes!
Please share this post. Get your friends and loved ones involved and don’t let politics force a small business to close. There’s almost no small business left in town! taken in The Green Room - Hoboken by @darek_michael

My partner Evan and I fight tirelessly everyday to bring you the best version of The Green Room that we can. We are faced with adversity every step of the way. Most people don’t know it, but so much goes into our stores. We’re forced to pay higher premiums, endure issues with banking & credit card processing, issues with manufacturing, issues with shipping and so much more. But we learned that the hardest part is constantly needing to navigate the negative bureaucracy that follows with trying to offer a holistic approach to modern day medicine.
For those of you reading this, remember, we are not done! We will continue to create a safe and self-regulated environment for our customers and will never give up on the hope we have that one day you elected public officials will do the right thing.
There’s over 1000 people all around our state who want to see The Green Room remain as it is.
To our friends, public servants, police officers, firefighters, healthcare workers, first responders and everyone else who signed this petition, THANK YOU!
We have strength in numbers. Let’s continue to showcase the support and momentum we have so that Evan and I can carry on with our battle at the frontline. We do this relentlessly everyday to ensure we bring you a place that you can call safe, but more importantly, a place you can call home.
The Green Room is our home and the home to thousands of residents in our wonderful state of New Jersey. This is just the beginning. Let your voices be heard and help us continue to fight for what’s right!👊

What a journey this license acquisition has been! Almost 5 years ago I applied for a license from the @newjerseycrc to grow my company @thegreenroomnj and our infrastructure 📈
Looking back on the journey, from starting my application to now getting into stores who’ve supported The Green Room since they opened…I can’t say anything else but thank you and to recognize how lucky and grateful I am to be in the position we are now as a licensed manufacturer in the state of NJ!🙌
7 years of @thegreenroomnj and now we get to show our beautiful state how much this industry and making great product for good people means to myself and my team🏆
I wouldn’t have been able to do this without my partners, including @evan.robert.russell & the rest of the DMW team.
A huge shout out to Joe who’s been with me for 7 years now and never stopped believing in our dreams. Never give up on what’s worth fighting for!
We did it team! This is what hands on looks like! 😎💚 taken in New Jersey, USA by @darek_michael
