Hey Hoboken, It’s us, The Green Room. Your friends. Many of you have seen us in our window. There’s almost none of them left like ours in town. You may ask why? And we’ll tell you… Small business is dying in Hoboken. We’ve been here for almost 8 years and a lot has changed. But what remains are these friendly faces in this window. Doing what we love and trying to make each and every person that comes in our doors, smile, laugh, walk out happier. That’s all in danger now… We’ve been asking the municipality for 8 months to support us in getting our license so we can keep this small business open. We’ve made little progress. The Hoboken council thinks residents would be upset if there were more cannabis stores. ITS NOT NEWS. WE’RE ALREADY HERE‼️ We’ve always been here and now when being forced to leave so we are asking you to HELP US STAY‼️ So come on by this Wednesday 10/21 at 7pm. Hoboken’s town hall. Walk into the courtroom. Sit down for the council session and put your name on the list for public comment. You’ll have 5 minutes. Please be polite and address the Council and Council President respectfully. This isn’t a riot, this is asking for permission. The Green Room would like a CLASS 5️⃣ CRC RETAIL endorsement letter from the municipalities Mayor @emily4hoboken ; & council members: @presinzano4hoboken @dr.michaelrussonj @caitlin4hoboken @ramos4hoboken @joeq4hoboken @tiffanieforhoboken @philiphcohen @diane_imus If you’re unable to endorse us, please tell us why… We’ve had a great track record as a business in this town. Many of the towns own, support us. And the fees associated with the cost of the licensing, we’ll be subject to yearly, can go to a great cause that we’re privileged to offer to the town. It’s a honor to have a store here at 64 Newark Street 🫶 We invite you to come and speak! Share positives or negatives about us. We’ll be there! Please try to join us in support towards The Green Room 💚🤝🎶 📍64 Newark Street Hoboken NJ 07030

HOBOKEN WE NEED YOUR HELP!📣 The Green Room requires a new license to continue our operations that we previously didn’t need. The catch is that the municipality won’t support us in receiving one. We’ve been here since May of 2019. Long before any of the dispensaries in town were even a thought. Although many were skeptical about a hemp store opening in town, The Green Room paved the path to show legislators and local law enforcement that a store like ours could be a community leader. We’ve been setting an example for almost 8 years now in a totally unregulated industry. Now, WE NEED YOUR HELP‼️ Upcoming council meetings in town this month are 10/7 and 10/21 at 7pm and we need you, our loyal supporters and customers to sign up for public comment and tell the Hoboken council what The Green Room means to you. We need just five minutes! Please share this post. Get your friends and loved ones involved and don’t let politics force a small business to close. There’s almost no small business left in town!

My partner Evan and I fight tirelessly everyday to bring you the best version of The Green Room that we can. We are faced with adversity every step of the way. Most people don’t know it, but so much goes into our stores. We’re forced to pay higher premiums, endure issues with banking & credit card processing, issues with manufacturing, issues with shipping and so much more. But we learned that the hardest part is constantly needing to navigate the negative bureaucracy that follows with trying to offer a holistic approach to modern day medicine. For those of you reading this, remember, we are not done! We will continue to create a safe and self-regulated environment for our customers and will never give up on the hope we have that one day you elected public officials will do the right thing. There’s over 1000 people all around our state who want to see The Green Room remain as it is. To our friends, public servants, police officers, firefighters, healthcare workers, first responders and everyone else who signed this petition, THANK YOU! We have strength in numbers. Let’s continue to showcase the support and momentum we have so that Evan and I can carry on with our battle at the frontline. We do this relentlessly everyday to ensure we bring you a place that you can call safe, but more importantly, a place you can call home. The Green Room is our home and the home to thousands of residents in our wonderful state of New Jersey. This is just the beginning. Let your voices be heard and help us continue to fight for what’s right!👊 CHANGE IS HERE | MAKING THE GARDEN STATE GREENER 💚
