When I made this illustration 3 years ago, I couldn’t even imagine the amount of grief I would be dealing with in the coming years.

I look at it now with very different eyes, and feel it much deeper than how I felt back then. Back then, I was thinking of something more abstract, less personal, but now..

Now I let the grief come whenever it wants, sit with me, and take its time.

Sunbathing ☀️

It started as a random quick sketch (see the last slide) and I could definitely see the potential ☺️

It might or might not has been influenced by the fact that I drew it sitting on a sunny balcony :-)

Sketching has been so much fun lately 💜🧡 I’m experimenting with mixed media a lot :-) Swipe to see the whole spread and tell me, which sketch is your favourite? 🫟

Drew some girls, cats, plants, that beautiful lil birdie I found at Berlin flea market (and cleaned it with the ketchup method 🍅🐦) and most importantly - humidity measuring thingie 😆 I want to remember what normal humidity feels like before the cold and wet season hits and that smiley face turns sad until spring :,)

My cat Fenia LOVES to sit on my sketchbook while I draw. I read that cats show their love by mimicking their owners and keeping them company in whatever they do 🥹 And I love Fenia so much, but when she gives me such a great opportunity to annoy her a bit, I will definitely use it 😼💕

Recently I found this video on my phone and realised why this sketchbook page looks the way it looks. Love this little memory I have with my fluffy coworker. Now that I am in Munich and she is in Tallinn, I treasure such cute moments a lot ☺️

Warm Sunday on the lake Eibsee 🌞🍃🍂

🚂 It’s not so obvious when you plan the route, but you can take an old train to get to the lake from Garmisch-Partenkirchen, it’s a fun ride :-)

Beautiful views of Alps and lots of loud choo-choo’s 🚂

Did you know that Eibsee means yew tree lake (Тисове озеро)?🌲🤓

..it’s because the lake has been surrounded by those trees since forever. I don’t know if this is a yew tree but look at these roots 🤎

But most importantly, look who we met! 🍊🎵

In September it’s still quite hot in the sun, so you might wanna take your swimsuit with (don’t be like me :,D)

*sound on ☺️* At least I had bird seeds for this little friend. Lunch break! 🦆

…then a bunch of her friends appeared out of nowhere. Big lunch break!

The path around Eibsee is around 7.5 km so it would’ve taken us around 2 hours to do the whole thing

…but it’s only possible if you won’t stop every 3 minutes amazed by another beautiful view. Very unrealistic in my case

Here is an illustration of me, amazed!

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a landscape this beautiful

and these colours almost look fake to me :,)

Humans had a lunch break as well 🍇

..homemade plum pie tastes extra good eaten with a view 💙

You can also rent a boat on the lake. I hope to do it next time! 🤞🏼

I highly recommend visiting Eibsee. It’s so beautiful, easy to reach with public transport from Munich, quite a short walk around the whole lake (you don’t need any serious trekking shoes tbh). And maybe go on a weekday to avoid crowds 😄

I’m especially pissed with AI today 🤡 Story time, friends.

I’m seeing more and more posts like “AI artists are artists too” “AI artists deserve compliments too” and so on, BUT.

How about someone stealing not your art, but YOUR PHOTO, to post it as if it’s them? :D

Literally yesterday, one person I know used my photo where I do a pilates exercise. She replaced my clothes and my hair with AI to make it look like it’s her. The face isn’t visible. And she posted that. I saw it and was shocked, to say the least. She’s taken it down now, apologised… and blocked me 🥰

2026, amiright? I don’t know what should be happening in a person’s mind to think this is okay to do in the first place. To not even second guess it. And how often do people do that?

How about this:

🤝🏼 Take your own photos and videos

🤝🏼 Draw with your actual hands, because prompting an AI engine is not *making art*. You are not an artist, you’re good at describing what you want to see to a tool that generates it for you

🤝🏼 Sorry to break it to some people, but posting AI photos of you on your socials as if they’re real is cringe af. And using others’ photos for that purpose is ✨illegal✨ in case you didn’t know

I really don’t like where this whole trend is headed. AI art and feeding original art to AI to copy artists is one huge and annoying issue. But alternating a photo of an actual person as if it’s your own… Are those people okay?

Anyway. I’m omw to touch some grass and enjoy the rest of the day :D 🦔 Have a nice weekend everyone (except those who violate others’ intellectual property rights).

It’s the little things ⋆˙⟡♡

I made this first drawing on a trip to Austria, sitting in a cozy little balcony while it was raining, surrounded by the mountains which were almost totally covered by the trees. For some reason, I like drawing window views. They bring me comfort.

Now I’m back home in Munich, my balcony garden is slowly growing as well as the number of drawings and sketches in my sketchbook.

That vacation was my personal emotional rollercoaster, and it healed something in me.
