I’m in beautiful Šibenik for the premiere of my short film ‘Rhythm Interrupted’ at the Croatian International Film Festival! Feeling incredibly excited and deeply grateful to share this moment with my friend, fellow artist @anacilas by my side. Huge thank you to the amazing cast @rachelborka and @vinnyalvas — for bringing so much heart and soul to this story. And thank you to @evacavadini for being the best AD! (And everything else!) What a journey. 💫 #rhythminterrupted #ciff #filmpremiere #shortfilmfestival #shortfilm #croatia taken in Šibenik, Croatia by @dariakaric

🎬 SELF-TAPE MASTERCLASS ✅ Still buzzing from the energy, focus, and talent in the room! In just two hours, we: ✅ Broke down scene analysis (Who, What, Where, Why…) 💡 Mastered the technical setup — lighting, framing, sound, eyeline 🎭 Played with tactics, emotional truth, and connection 📹 Shot real self-tapes, ready to be submitted 💬 Asked bold questions and made bold choices. Actors were open, committed, curious, and courageous. It was a pleasure watching you create the characters from within. @kresh_zg and @rcoric8 Thank you for showing up fully. 📸 Thank you to my talented and kind friend @anjakukor for capturing this. Swipe to see the vibe ➡️ #selftape #selftapemasterclass #selftapeauditions #zagreb #glumci #gluma #casting #audition #actor #actors #masterclass taken in Zagreb, Croatia by @dariakaric

✨ I’m beyond excited to announce that my first professional short film ‘Rhythm Interrupted’ will have its premiere in my home country — Croatia! 🇭🇷 We’ve officially been selected for the Croatian International Film Festival 2025, and I couldn’t be more grateful. 🙏🎬 Creating this film was one of the most thrilling journeys of my life — from writing the first words of the script, to directing on set, and diving into the editing room. Every line and beat of ‘Rhythm Interrupted’ was made with love, curiosity, and passion. (And money, yes- we need money to create art! It is not free, people) A huge THANK YOU to the amazing cast and crew who poured their talent and heart into this project. Your creativity and dedication brought this story to life- it would not exist without you. ❤️ @evacavadini @rachelborka @vinnyalvas 📍I’ll see you in Šibenik on August 8th for the festival premiere. Come celebrate with us! #rhythminterrupted #shortfilm #filmpremiere #croatianinternationalfilmfestival #ciff2025 #filmmakingjourney #gratitude #sibenik #supportindiefilm #director #writer #producer #femaledirector taken in Šibenik, Croatia by @dariakaric
