DARK METAZ x YEE. @darkmetaz @yee.___hk "Long before the rise of hard, hypnotic dance music as a dominant genre, there was 69db." — Dekmantel FRIDAY, OCTOBER 9, 23h HK$150 (link in bio) / HK$250 (door) @69db_liveset A 1990s Hardteck and Tribe innovator, 69db has pushed live improvised sets since 1991. Founding Spiral Tribe and R-Zac, he shaped underground rave culture and co-founded Network 23. In 2023, 69db sold out four Sound Metaphors EPs alongside a PRSPCT double EP and box set. He and Crystal Distortion launched the "23 Records or Bust!" series reissuing their 90s catalog, selling out nine releases in under a year. In 2024, he debuted Wave Arising with Kynsie Serre, blending ambient, tribal, experimental, and hard techno. Praised for fusing hard tribal techno with dub techniques, Resident Advisor named it a Dekmantel 2024 standout performance. 69db remains a force in electronic music, continuing to evolve his sound and inspire audiences worldwide. poster @steviewhisper 宀 taken in 宀 Club by @darkmetaz

Stepping deeper into Avyakta | 未現之境. Continuing our artist spotlight for the Omen Wapta showcase at Acadana, we enter the shadowy undercurrents and primordial frequencies guided by JFÜNG and Chingyi. A descent into cavernous depths and primordial currents, where sound ceases to be mere rhythm and becomes an invocation. JFÜNG operates in the deep shadows of the frequency spectrum. As the soul-architect behind Hong Kong imprint Dark Metaz, he constructs cavernous sub-bass architecture fused with dark, hypnotic textures and tribal pulses. His sonic narratives unfold with surgical precision, drawing listeners into immersive, shadowy states of consciousness. From international airwaves to intense dancefloor transmissions alongside visionaries like Spekki Webu, Hysteria Temple Foundation, and Goth-Trad, JFÜNG channels a brand of subterranean mysticism designed to alter inner states. Chingyi moves like water carving through ancient stone—a singular voice tracing the line between animistic ritual and deep electronic experimentation. Spreading like underground mycelium across post-tribe, IDM, deep tekno, and low-end pressure, her selections carry a primal gravity rooted in physical movement, storytelling, and collective trance. From co-founding underground initiatives and curating her show Through the Third Ear on ROVR, to leading the collective Egregore.ttte, Chingyi approaches the dancefloor not as an escape into the night, but as an intimate return inward. by @darkmetaz

Dark Metaz Invites : TOMO (DE RIO, Florence) 2026.05.22 (Friday) 23:00-Late 宀 Hong Kong @mihnclub TOMO (@tomo_sound) is a DJ, producer, and co-founder of DE RIO (@de__rio), a Florence-based label, collective, and event series dedicated to sonic experimentation and community beyond the traditional club context. The soul-architect of the Dark Metaz collective and a cornerstone of Hong Kong’s underground. As a DJ, producer, and curator, he has spent years weaving the fabric of the city’s rave scene into something richer, darker, and more resonant. His obsession lies in the shadows between genres, blending deep, cavernous Dubstep soundscapes, dark & psychedelic textures borrowed from the fringes of Techno and Trance, and the heavy-weighted rhythms of Jungle music. Through a relentless exploration of the art of selection, Jfüng transforms the dancefloor into a vessel for true sonic adventure. His narrative-driven mixes have echoed across the airwaves of HKCR, FMBelowground, Flussi Sonori, Deep Tempo, Toha Radio, and OneFortyAsia. Whether hosting avant-garde visionaries like Spekki Webu and Trois-Quarts Taxi System, supporting titans like Ivy Lab and The Glitch Mob, or commanding the dancefloor at Keep Hush Shanghai recently, his reputation is built on precision and atmosphere. Prepare for the descent. 🌐🌐🌐🌐 KΣITO (Live) [TYOGQOM/USI KUVO Records, JP] moemiki [VIOLETNUDEWOMEN/tomotachi100, JP] KOLAK [CIRCLE, HK] Shelf-Index [Cheaper Than Therapy, HK] Fingergap [HK] Vsloria [gesamtarchive, HK] JFÜNG [Dark Metaz, HK] 🗓 Date: 16 May 2026 (SAT) ⏰️ Time: 11pm - Late 🏭 Venue: Your Favourite Secret Warehouse 🎫 Ticket: $230 (ADV), $280 (DOOR) DM for Tickets and Details.
