🔊🩸SOUNDEM🩸🔊

Marking a half-decade voyage in the dark, we celebrate 5 years of pushing sonic boundaries with heavy low-end pressure. As this era comes to a close, we invite you to dive one last time into the abyss.

For this milestone, we are landing on our favorite secret warehouse with a monolithic sound system engineered for total mind and body resonance in the dark atmosphere.

Expect a 9-hour journey of relentless, hypnotic frequencies spanning deep sub-bass, leftfield glitches, tribalism rhythms, and psychedelic textures from midnight until dawn.

Dark Metaz Invites : TOMO (DE RIO, Florence)

2026.05.22 (Friday)
23:00-Late
宀 Hong Kong @mihnclub

TOMO (@tomo_sound) is a DJ, producer, and co-founder of DE RIO (@de__rio), a Florence-based label, collective, and event series dedicated to sonic experimentation and community beyond the traditional club context. Guided by fast-paced rhythms, glitch minimalism, and organic textures, he crafts immersive soundscapes where IDM, deep techno, trance, and post-tribe atmospheres dissolve into one another. Rooted in Italy and shaped by years of sound-driven exploration, his sets and productions unfold like shifting terrains, polyrhythmic, tactile, and alive. Hypnotic loop pulses sink into earthy lows, crackling with percussive tension and spectral fragments. With a deep reverence for the physicality of sound systems, his sonic worlds operate like a somatic codex: encoding movement into vibrating air.

Lineup :
TOMO @tomo_sound (@de__rio, Florence)
Chingyi @chingaroos (@egregore.ttte, Shanghai)
Chxxgh1n @chxxgh1n (@bionickle.exp, Hong Kong)
Jfüng @jfung___ (@darkmetaz, Hong Kong)

Advanced $150 / Door $250

Hooyin & Jfüng

Hooyin
@hooyinwannatakeatrip (@100percentbakery, Hong Kong)

Formerly a drummer, Hooyin’s background is the heartbeat of his DJ sets. He favors a robust 4/4 structure infused with unexpected variations. His selection navigates the unconventional depths of Leftfield Bass, the industrial energy of Techno, and the cerebral experiments of IDM. Combined with the jittery rhythms of Broken Beat, his sound delivers a relentless, hypnotic energy that pushes the boundaries of the dancefloor.

Jfüng
@jfung___ (@darkmetaz, Hong Kong)

The soul-architect of the Dark Metaz collective and a cornerstone of Hong Kong’s underground. As a DJ, producer, and curator, he has spent years weaving the fabric of the city’s rave scene into something richer, darker, and more resonant. His obsession lies in the shadows between genres, blending deep, cavernous Dubstep soundscapes, dark & psychedelic textures borrowed from the fringes of Techno and Trance., and the heavy-weighted rhythms of Jungle music.

Through a relentless exploration of the art of selection, Jfüng transforms the dancefloor into a vessel for true sonic adventure. His narrative-driven mixes have echoed across the airwaves of HKCR, FMBelowground, Flussi Sonori, Deep Tempo, Toha Radio, and OneFortyAsia. Whether hosting avant-garde visionaries like Spekki Webu and Trois-Quarts Taxi System, supporting titans like Ivy Lab and The Glitch Mob, or commanding the dancefloor at Keep Hush Shanghai recently, his reputation is built on precision and atmosphere. Prepare for the descent.

Meet our local support : Manekii @yo.manekii

__
Forged at the crossroads of East and West, Manekii channels three cities into a singular bass-driven journey. Drawing on Hong Kong’s neon pulse, London’s pirate-radio grit, and Amsterdam’s rave energy, he fuses UKG, Bass, Breaks and Jungle into high-octane sets.

Unafraid to shift tempos from 130 BPM into the 170s, Manekii keeps dancefloors on a knife’s edge, weaving deep sub-lines with razor-sharp percussion. Now a rising staple of Europe and Asia’s underground circuit, Manekii continues to redefine bass culture – one break at a time.

As a curator, Manekii’s label, RowdyRuff Recordz @rowdyruffrecordz pulses at the forefront of global bass culture, staging parties in Amsterdam, London, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur and Guangzhou.

Each event spotlights diverse, emerging local talent and celebrates the unifying power of music. What sets RowdyRuff Recordz apart is Manekii’s knack for building bridges, connecting these vibrant scenes and partnering with brands like Soho House @sohohouse and Keep Hush @keephush_ to create truly cross-cultural experiences.
