What a privilege to have been raised in this city. Chicago and the US have given me more than I ever thought possible. Most important over all has been getting to know you beautiful people. Through the many phases of my life I’ve been touched by the love, kindness and support so many of you have given me. I am forever grateful. Grateful to my parents for their sacrifices to provide an amazing life for my brother and I to be able to thrive in and choose our own paths.

I hope to be able to see you all again one day.

Building beautiful spaces is its own kind of art.

The design is drawn months in advance, and the build requires craftsmanship every step of the way. When it comes time to capture the essence of the entire process in just a few photos, it takes a team of artists to finesse every last detail.

Thank you @dwellmagazine for featuring our Collector’s Cottage project.

This 19th-century Chicago worker’s cottage offered a chance to bring past and present together. The historic brick façade was carefully restored, while a new steel-and-glass rear addition introduces light, openness, and a 21st-century counterpoint. Together, the two halves tell the story of the home across time.

We’re grateful to Dwell for recognizing this residence and sharing it with their community. Explore the full story at the link in their bio.
