Introducing @gracecurrieart - the third of our four current #SyncingSpace @SyncThinking residents who has studio space at home.

She joins Syncing Space with generous support from @dashdisabilityarts and is a bit of a firework with ‘bursts of energy but also ‘fizzling out’.

She reminds us that highs and lows of being a disabled artist and that is ‘just how it is’. Grace you are brill, you light up our skies!

Over the past few weeks, Grace has hosted an open studio and this way of influencing sits at the heart of her practice that longs for connection and joy.

Go to syncingspace.org and check out her studio

With thanks to our other partners and supporters for this residency @VentureArts @RocketArtists @DASH @actionspace and our creative supporters who make it all possible and @acegrams who are supporting Syncing Space so that artists with learning disability and autism can find and define their leadership for the road ahead and see themselves as internationally relevant.

"My work is my life and my life is my work"

Following on from her Home Based Situated Practice residency with @dashdisabilityarts and @compton_verney earlier this year, we're pleased to share that @gracecurrieart has been selected as an artist for the Autumn 2026 Syncing Space Residency ‘Sync Shorts’ – a residency between the UK and Singapore.

Grace will share what she has been up from her home-studio on her online ‘Sync Shorts’ studio space and she will have a solo online exhibition of new work at the end of the residency.

Founded by @sarahpickthall and co-facilitated by Thompson Hall from Action Space, Syncing Space brings learning disabled and autistic artists together for an international residency, providing accessible online spaces for art making, curating and leadership. Grace joins artists Abraham Koh, Maddi Lingard and William Thomas as part of the Cohort.

Find out more on the Syncing Space website and on Instagram via @syncthinking.

Funded by @acegrams and in partnership with @dashdisabilityarts, @actionspace, @venturearts_, @rocket_artists and @art.dis.singapore
