I'm John: husband, actor, and stage director. Was a college professor for 10 years. Now I'm getting old and punish my knees by going to concerts.

Finally found the first release of the Mego Screaming Werewolf, after actually seeing the second (blue release) first....which I should have gotten. We'll just pretend it's Lon Chaney's other wolf man... #mego #megotoys #frankenstein #wolfman #frankensteinmonster #universalhorror #universalmonsters #classicmonsters #frankensteinmeetsthewolfman #lonchaneyjr #lonchaney #boriskarloff #belalugosi #toys #toyphotography #toyunion #toystagram #toyartistry #toptoyphotos #actionfigures #actionfigurephotography #screamingwerewolf by @dashtacker

I rarely get close enough for decent pictures with my phone camera (it's a Motorola 😐) but I was right in front of the stage right last night at #readingreverb so here's #ludovicotechnique #deadanimalassemblyplant and #combichrist in #concert by @dashtacker

New Green Lung goes hard. I so wish these guys would come back across the pond because I missed them two years ago and absolutely must see them live.

I have all the albums on color vinyl...this is the first one that isn't green in my collection. (It's purple. I realized I didn't take a picture of it playing.)

Worked all Labor Day weekend, but I work so early now I have the whole day to relax after.

This is the longest my hair has been since 1998. No plans to cut it.

Bearly Dead concert at Bristol Waterfront, the lovely wife, my battle vest, Juno, an excellent Pink Floyd bootleg, and hanging out with The Beatles. The week so far. #bearlydead #gratefuldead #pinkfloyd #corgi #battlevest by @dashtacker

Made it to Monster Mania today for the first time since 2015, I think. My wife wanted to meet Malcom McDowell. Highlight of my day was started talking to a guy outside about pipe tobacco, Lovecraft, Robert E Howard, and metal, and it turns out I made friends with Chuck Sherwood from Incantation. Small world. Pipes bring travelers together! #monstermania #incantationband #incantation #malcolmcmdowell #horrorcon by @dashtacker

I can say with confidence that this colorway for Super7 Reaction Megalon is the best looking Reaction figure I've ever seen. #godzilla #megalon #super7 #super7reaction #toyphotography by @dashtacker

Some excellent thrifts today. And I finally got the White Album with the Escher demos on disc. All those multiples of Beatles albums and I never got around to buying it until today. Can't beat that for 12 bucks. And look at the orange case on that Krokus tape!! #alicecooper #thebeatles #krokus #bobweir #defleppard ran out of tags - Prong! by @dashtacker
