✨ Blessings on Blessings ✨After being a Skip member for 2 years, DA SPOT NYC was awarded the $10K @hello.skip Grant earlier this summer 🙌🏾 This came right on time—helping me cover payroll, support our amazing brands in shop, and invest in new production equipment.The timing was divine. Just the day before, a group of teens shoplifted two hats. Instead of being angry, I chose to release it and trust that God would bless us anyway. The very next day… we won this grant. 🙏🏾Grateful to Founder Ryder Pearce and the entire Skip team for building a platform that truly invests in entrepreneurs. From weekly drawings and monthly grants to business plans and valuation, Skip is changing the game for small businesses.I am playing catch up, y'all. 🧡💙KNICKS FAMILY FOREVER 🧡💙Watching our New York Knicks bring a championship back to New York has us feeling all the emotions 🧡💙🧡💙For the past 5 years, we've had the honor of working with the @nyknicks as a custom printing partner. What started as a business relationship has grown into something that feels like family.This video was filmed in 2021 with the AMAZING @mcnuttmonica when DA SPOT NYC was featured as part of the Knicks' Black Small Business initiative. At the time, we were celebrating a huge milestone: becoming an official supplier for Madison Square Garden.Since then, we've continued to grow, create, and represent Brooklyn every step of the way.To see the #Knicks reach the top and bring a title back to New York? 53 years later… WE DID IT, NEW YORK. 🏆🧡💙What a weekend at DA SPOT 🧡💙🧡💙🧡🧡From customers pulling each day for their Knicks gear, selling out twice, an impromptu watch party in the shop with the projector, good vibes, and a room full of believers—we celebrated this one together. Then we hit the streets with the people, spread love the Brooklyn way, and partied until the early morning.I walked home at 3 AM. 😂Now it's time for the parade.We've already restocked some favorites, and new championship designs are on the way. The Access Code: Emotional Sovereignty™ is officially out in the world and I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful room to share it in.Being home in Brooklyn for this moment meant everything. The first story I ever wrote was at P.S./I.S. 308; a little girl with an imagination and a gift she didn’t yet know what to do with.
