At Davaar, we’ve been growing wool for generations. Today, our strong wool becomes pieces like The 515 Vest, crafted entirely here in New Zealand in small, considered runs.

Fresh from a winter break, Anna and I are getting ready to welcome you back to Davaar Station. Located on the road to Milford Sound & Fiordland National Park, our farm gate is perfectly placed to provide delicious homemade food and coffee, and a wander around the Davaar store where you can try on your favourite Davaar piece.

We're opening on Tuesday October 6.
We can't wait to see you!

Traversing 32km through some of the most spectacular country in New Zealand, the Routeburn Track connects Fiordland and Mount Aspiring National Parks, crossing from The Divide near Te Anau to the Routeburn Shelter near Glenorchy.

If you’re walking the Routeburn this summer, Davaar is in fact on the way.

Stop in at our farm-gate store, try on a Davaar, grab a coffee and scone from my sister’s caravan, Sprig & Thistle and some sustenance for the tramp (aka sweet treats!)

The 808 in Granite is finally here.

The story of The 808 begins long before Davaar, with a pattern knitted by my late grandmother, Sally, for my grandfather David. Its distinctive cable braid carries a piece of our family history forward - a nod to something made with care, worn well and kept for years.

Now knitted in Granite - a deep, enduring grey drawn from the granite rocky outcrops at Davaar Station and the rugged Southland country we call home.

Made from 100% Davaar wool, grown here on our family farm and made entirely in New Zealand.
