From Berlin’s Panorama Bar and London’s Fabric to Sónar and MUTEK, Dave Aju brings a sound entirely his own. The internationally recognized DJ and producer blends deep house, Detroit techno, jazz and hip-hop with soulful vocals and a psychedelic edge.

Championed by Theo Parrish and Matthew Herbert, his music channels West Coast warehouse roots into adventurous, soulful dance floors around the world.

The alias of Marc David Barrite — an internationally recognised producer, now Los Angeles-based, with a catalogue across Paris's Circus Company, Ostgut Ton and Matthew Herbert's Accidental Records.

He recently released his fifth studio album, Glossolalia, with The Invisible Art Trio, following the homecoming LP TXLAX and the Ciao Sun EP on Tokyo's Mule Musiq and launched his home base mothership artist imprint Elbow Grease.

Beyond the booth he mix-engineers and produces for a deep roster of LA artists at Point Winona Sound Labs — the Los Feliz studio behind the Sound Library he curates with Tavish — and teaches production at Hollywood's Musicians Institute. Has headlined Fabric, Panorama Bar, Sónar and MUTEK.

NÛ CHA CHA brings DISCOS XXX to dos Rombos — Friday 28 August at Terreno
Barrio Hotel.

There's a studio on a hill in Los Feliz called Point Winona. In March, twenty
West Coast artists gathered there and made a record together — the Point
Winona Sound Library, produced/curated by Dave Aju and Tavish.
Sasha, Erol Alkan and
CC:DISCO! have been playing it ever since.

DAVE AJU — Circus Company · Elbow Grease · SF · Berlin · LA //
Bay Area kid, by way of Berlin, Los Angeles now. He grew up with jazz in the
house and it turns up in everything he plays. Deep, melodic, patient, the crate is deep.
Five albums deep, Circus Company to Mule Musiq. Fabric, Panorama Bar, Sónar,
MUTEK.

TAVISH — DISCOS XXX · Warehouse Preservation Society · Los Angeles //
Born and raised in Venice, California. He made hip-hop first — golden age,
until the LA warehouse scene got hold of
him, and he has been elevating it ever since.
Tavish and his other partner TK run the Warehouse Preservation Society — records for Futureboogie and Love On The Rocks, remixes for Daniele Baldelli and Psychemagik, sets from Glastonbury to Love International. He plays industrial disco and acid house, but skies the limit for him.

KENNETH SCOTT — SF-to-Berlin DJ/Producer/Photographer where he works with Session Victim for Rhythm Section and Gaswerks. He plays the rooms he photographs, which is rarer than it sounds.
