Comment ACTOR and we’ll send you a free month of PREVO to watch it.

Today’s pick: THE ACTOR, a 14-minute comedy about a struggling New York City actress racing to the audition that could change her life, with a very high-maintenance dog in tow.

Written and directed by @_hagani_ and shot in four days all over New York (handheld, no permits).

@katherineschaberhanson stars as Anne, alongside @adiascorner @ashleyt.greaves @jamerling @simonjamesgibson and @nova_parkour_burger as Macy, the dog.

Every audition scene was shot at @thebarrowgroup the acting school where Alexander met his entire cast. And the famous pizza place @lindustriebk is where Anne briefly runs in. The crew shot there before opening, and by the time they wrapped, the line was already down the block.

Graded in DaVinci Resolve Studio @blackmagicnewsofficial and a @north130films production.

Streaming now in PREVO, alongside over 150 other short films. New premieres every week. Follow so you don’t miss the next one.

@lesfilmfestival, thank you!

we had a hell of a time at our nyc premiere a few weeks back and a huge special shoutout to @roxitron @whoistonycastle @sarahamory and the whole LESFF team who (1. knows how to throw a party, and (2. puts so much work into putting moving, bold, and fiercely independent films up on screen… we’re very honored to have been a part of a program with so many awesome fellow films and filmmakers.

love u New York City & @lesfilmfestival… and thank you to those that came out to celebrate from our team and our friends (pictured or not pictured!)
