Here is my poster for the immortal, @deadandcompany and this weekend’s run of shows at the Sphere in Las Vegas. This honker is 24”x36” and was printed by LandLand - which means it - looks - GREAT in person. There is a paper version and a rainbow foil version. I’ll have mine on sale this Sunday at 10 AM PST, and if you’re unable to pick up a print at the show - or your print gets ruined while you’re there orbiting the sun - then I’m your guy for a new one. I wish I could be at the show - I went to the Forum show when I got to do the poster for it some time ago and I will never forget the entire thing. From the parking lot - to the guy who spun around for the whole set - it was WILD. Ok. I’ve got a cup of water that won’t drink itself - so I gotta go. Also - the second image is the drawing I did for this. I hope that was obvious. #deadandco #deadandcompany #deadforever #illustration #penandink by @davekloc

Here are my posters for @billystrings and his two shows here in Los Angeles, tonight at the Orpheum and then tomorrow at The Forum! I made this image in honor of one of the best spots in the city - Echo Park Lake and its iconic swan boats (and turtles!) I will actually be AT the show at the Forum, signing posters and I’ll be able to see the show which will be my first time seeing Billy Strings live - a fellow Michigander! These will be available at the shows and then from me on Sunday morning at 10 AM PST. Hope to meet some folks at the Forum! #billystrings #echoparklake #swanboats by @davekloc

I’m truly honored and excited about this - I got to do a tour poster for the damn DESCENDENTS. I don’t think he will ever read this - so I’ll tell you - I got to email directly with Bill Stevenson and for those who know - you know - that’s a cool thing that was definitely on the ol bucket list. I was able to do this 4 color tour poster for the band and their current US tour that’s about a week in at the moment. These posters are out with them at shows and they were printed by my DEAR SWEET FRIEND - @moonlightspeed who is a hero and an inspiration. If you grab one of these at a show - send me a pic, I want to see em out in the wild! Thanks to @radchadrad for the mega assist, powerful stuff. Ok - gonna go refill the ol COFFEE MUG. MUG. MUG. #descendents #posterage #tourposter #COFFEEMUG by @davekloc

Here is my print for the Dirty Heads / 311 show tonight in Alpharetta, GA! I was lucky enough to be able to work with the great @_jseamans on this piece - as you can tell by the glorious watercolors throughout. Also got very lucky that @landlandcolportage and @rlsunde were able to print these - they look great in person - the foil ones are -tip your hat and wink- level. I’ll have my APs for these, their foils, and an uncut 24”x36” art print version of the whole piece - available on my site Wednesday, Sept 2nd at 10 AM PST! Ok - gonna go swimming and play with some big old dogs. #dirtyheads #311 #artprint by @davekloc

Hey now! Here is my poster for @goosetheband and their shows (three of em) at the mighty Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado! I was asked to do this poster by the good people at @consciousalliance who use their proceeds from the posters to feed the hungry. Much better than what I do with my proceeds. These were printed by my good friend Andrew at @brokenpressdesign who is a strong and brilliant individual. I will actually be in Denver this weekend for the TRPS event on Sunday and I will be trying to go to one of the Goose shows while we’re in town - so if you see one guy in a metal shirt at a goose show, say hi. I’ll have my APs on sale Wednesday Sept 2nd at 10 AM PST. So - if you can’t grab one at the show, see ya then! Ok - gonna go get the spiders out of my hockey bag. Talk soon. #redrocks #goosetheband #fishbowl #consciousalliance by @davekloc

HELLO! Here is my poster for tonight’s @goosetheband show at the Greek Theatre here in Los Angeles! This is the paper and the foil editions - with my two favorite things about LA, the dogs and taco carts. I mean it - those two things are truly what makes this town so special to me. I can wave at, pet, blow kisses to so many dogs in the course of a day, and have 2-4 tacos, burrito, mulita or quesadilla for less than ten bucks. It’s a dream. Thanks to @morganmiller for organizing the dog model for this, the famous and handsome WILLY. These were printed by the hardworking, talented and kind - @addnoisestudios here in Los Angeles, and my APs will be on sale Saturday Aug 15th at 10 am PST, an edition of 50 paper and 25 foils are available! The gold ink is a metallic shiny ink that pops off the paper - it’s real nice in person. Ok - I’m gonna go get some Murphys Oil to clean my cabinets. Talk to you soon. #goosetheband #greektheatre #tacos #tacocart by @davekloc

Go to the link in my bio to add your name to the waitlist for my drawing course!

Let the shadows sell the light effect.

Keep the light source marked on your page as a reminder of where the shadows will go!

And beef up the lines of the shadows that butt up against the highlights you’ve left in there! by @davekloc
