A couple clips from this past weekend’s @shaydecastro show at 808!
Jared Zada and Dave Lex both killed their sets.
Relive the night now on our YouTube — both sets are out now.

Should we drop clips from the rest of the night tomorrow? 👀

Audiophiles: Dave Lex 022
Kicking off the cooler weather with this driving 90 minute mix from
@davelexmusic , an El Paso native DJ and Producer, fueled by the rhythm and energy that only dance music can invoke. With influences between his hispanic and black culture, 15 years of electronic music shaping his taste, and his love for dance, He seeks to create music and experiences that guide you through an invigorating story of groove and emotion, allowing for one to get lost in dance. As an aspiring artist, he has shared the stage with Shay De Castro, Charles D, Sam Wolfe, and has received support from his most recent techno release, “Synesthesia EP”.

This 90 minute mix serves to invoke the groove and rhythm that drives movement, combined with hypnotic subtlety and intensity, all while unveiling the spectrum of energy that courses through your body. Including tracks from labels such as Mutual Rhythm, Tronic, CODEX, DCLTD, amongst others.
Groovy bass patterns, reverberated kick drums, tantalizing ambience, penetrating percussion, and driving synths, all combine to create a story that can only be felt through music.
Lose yourself in the rhythm, find your groove.

It’s time for me to lock the fuck in 🙇🏾‍♂️

I’ve come to realize that up to this point in my artist journey, there’s seasons in this game. Let me explain.

Like most people starting out balancing a full time job, maybe a family (thats my case with my wife and 2 kiddos), and investing as much or little time available into everything that music requires this day and age.. it’s literally almost impossible, delusional even to expect to be able to do all of that ALL THE TIME. I’ve tried doing it all, gigs, networking, live mixes and guest mixes, supporting other artists, all while being a day to day citizen, and thats pushed me to long nights, little sleep, and feeling drained and with little drive, literally running on E, and not being able to be fully present in a lot of aspects of my life.

So I’ve come to realize that for me at least there will be seasons.
Seasons of getting gigs, seasons of being able to support others, seasons of drought, seasons of everything else in between, and I gotta do my best to balance it all and ride the waves as they come with their seasons.

So I appreciate all of you who’ve been with me through all the seasons, and I hope y’all will continue to ride with me.

So for me, right now is the start of the season of me locking in, producing and delivering more studio mixes, rather than doing live gigs for now..

Im excited, and I hope to bring some dope ass music to share with yall after I lock in to the studio for a few months!

Cheers to the seasons 🥂 by @davelexmusic

Nothing scarier than playing some of your original tracks LIVE FOR THE FIRST TIME 🫪

But seeing the crowds reactions and grooving with it, man I can’t even explain how amazing that is 🙏🏾🙌🏾

PRESSURE EP .002 FEATURING @haze.__ 🔥

SWIPE FOR A PREVIEW OF THE GOODS 😏

DJ and producer Haze brings his eclectic personality to hypnotic techno, electro, breaks, bass, acid, and trance, with a focus on rhythm, structure, and a state of constant flux. His sets emphasize controlled weight, layered percussion, and subtle tonal shifts, blending organic, chaotic textures with precise, functional dynamics. Influenced by borderland culture and its surrounding environments, his sound prioritizes momentum, spatial awareness, and floor continuity.

Haze approaches long-form mixing with tension, memory, and gradual energy shaping. His selections are deliberate and patient, moving with a steady swing.
Opening for acts such as Drumcell, Triptykh, Salome & Otta
He is the founder of @instinct.instinct , an imprint supporting forward-thinking artists, shaped by the city that formed him and the travels that continue to refine his taste.
