Audiophiles: Dave Lex 022
Kicking off the cooler weather with this driving 90 minute mix from
@davelexmusic , an El Paso native DJ and Producer, fueled by the rhythm and energy that only dance music can invoke. With influences between his hispanic and black culture, 15 years of electronic music shaping his taste, and his love for dance, He seeks to create music and experiences that guide you through an invigorating story of groove and emotion, allowing for one to get lost in dance. As an aspiring artist, he has shared the stage with Shay De Castro, Charles D, Sam Wolfe, and has received support from his most recent techno release, “Synesthesia EP”.

This 90 minute mix serves to invoke the groove and rhythm that drives movement, combined with hypnotic subtlety and intensity, all while unveiling the spectrum of energy that courses through your body. Including tracks from labels such as Mutual Rhythm, Tronic, CODEX, DCLTD, amongst others.
Groovy bass patterns, reverberated kick drums, tantalizing ambience, penetrating percussion, and driving synths, all combine to create a story that can only be felt through music.
Lose yourself in the rhythm, find your groove.

There’s something about EP local talent.
I think we’re just on a different wavelength and do it better 🔥😉

Also nothing like vibing with homies to some Techno in a dark room with strobe lights. ✨😎

Y’all killed it

I couldn’t have asked for a better way to end my time in the Sun City!

What a fun final weekend in El Paso opening the floor for legends @samwolfemusic & @lorely_mur at @8o8ofc & @paranoia.collect respectively! As well as spending it with some incredible friends :)

Many thanks to @smgevents & @paranoia.collect for having me! And thanks to those that came out early to both events to see me play one last time!

Swipe for some highlights & funnies!

I miss you already El Paso 💔

Don’t ask what the scene can do for you…but ask what you can do for the scene 🩵

Happy Friday! We’ve got some heaters being added to #theflutterfrequency playlist on spotify.

The first track, ‘Feel It’ by Dave Lex is one of the first full releases of @cryocanic_collective , a small group first started by me when first moving here not too long ago to the EP area. I was trying to get to know some people in the area, and ended up vibing with some of the first people I reached out to.

Ffwd a bit & now we are starting to release music together, collaborate, share and build together. It feels great to have like-minded people to vibe with! (You guys know who you are) Its been awesome meeting new people (shout-out to everyone I’ve met so far and the other groups that have been kind), & it has been an adventure being in a totally new place. Anyone who is trying to join and bring good vibes is invited, so don’t be a stranger! We have some members on the east coast, some members out on the west coast, and everywhere in between. Two tracks of our Summer Sampler are out so far for free now through the Cryocanic Soundcloud, feel free to check them out & download 🤙

Tracks added:

@davelexmusic - Feel it

@officialgreenvelvet , @meduzamusic , @genesiofc , @essentia_ofc - La La Land

@dhali.ofc , DaGi - Ibiza Circoloco (@domenicorondinelli_ofc & @dennisreif.mp3 Remix)

@shermanology - Insane

@sapiannnn , @aviv_sab - Deep House Pumpin’

A couple clips from this past weekend’s @shaydecastro show at 808!
Jared Zada and Dave Lex both killed their sets.
Relive the night now on our YouTube — both sets are out now.

Should we drop clips from the rest of the night tomorrow? 👀
