So insanely proud of my girl @gggeeebbb for producing Scrambled — a hilarious, raunchy, fun, poignant, and moving movie that does for freezing your eggs what Bridesmaids did for weddings! Kudos to Gillian, the amazingly talented @leahmckendrick and the whole Scrambled team! Please do yourself a favor this weekend and check it out! (And if you watch closely enough you might even see yours truly make a cameo appearance!) #scrambledmovie by @davemcm22

Slightly elated Emmys dump. Honored to go as a nominee… and got to take my mom as my date! (Also, the last pic on here made it on Buzzfeed, which I guess means I’ve officially arrived!) #emmys taken in Los Angeles, California by @davemcm22

This man. Legend, icon, courageous artist and inspiring patriot. The day he came to see my play Watching O.J. (and what he said to me about it after the show) ranks as one of the highest professional moments of my life. Thank you Norman for being an inspiration to me and countless other writers, for gracing us with your genius for 101 years, and for making us laugh AND think. Indeed, when it came to using humor to confront our social ills and political divisions, nobody did it better.

I can only hope to grow as wise and as young as you. :-) by @davemcm22

WGA STRIKE PHOTO DUMP #2 (Note: once the WGA strike officially ended, it was nice to meet up w/ some of my strike buddies NOT on the picket line to celebrate!😊)

WGA STRIKE PHOTO DUMP #1. The last 5 months have been a wild ride of stress and uncertainty — but also filled with camaraderie, joy, and solidarity, seeing old friends and making new ones. We achieved this victory TOGETHER, and I’ve never been prouder to be a member of this union.

One strike victory down. One more to go! #wga #wgastrong #sagaftrastrong taken in Los Angeles, California by @davemcm22

My mom joined me on the picket line for Day 100 of the #wgastrike. Couldn’t have asked for a better picketing companion! 😊✊🏾 #wga #sagaftra #sagaftrastrike taken in Los Angeles, California by @davemcm22
