Back in the day….
So many surf related relationships were formed in this backyard on 6th and Lake.
One that was pretty heavy and the last of its kind. We did have some parties and epic moments. The Bands, the Skate comps, and also one could get a board fixed while skating. Those who control the HB narrative have buried this history. I have many photos and receipts.

Such a great weekend with my nephew Devin from Mammoth. I took @tubbsie167 and Megan down to Doheny to grab a few waves. He’s definitely got the surfing bug now and a board. So he’s on his path . Ya Gotta see this big boy ride a snowboard, amazing.

To think that just 1 year ago I barely could walk let alone surf or have a purpose. I was ready to end it.
2 NEW HIPs = RE-new LIFE!
NOW I’m shaping, surfed in the Malibu Classic and also got this epic parallel part time gig going on.
Spraying (heavy) Steel 4” industrial posts 12 ft long with 2 part paint “did this by myself” . ( I’ll hire some labor help next round, lol)
Thankful to GOD and my beautiful wife Janessa for caring and loving me back to 💯.
At my age and experience I’ve really learned a lot about A lot. Being a father, a grandfather I’m just an old fart with grey hair Thats lived, surfed and been around the world.
To all of those who I value and have a ❤️ “I love you” and those I don’t, those weak ass people that talk shit and not back it, can just fuck off!

Taking walks at Dog Beach from GW to Seapoint with Daisy 🌼.
Like Lilly 🐶It’s really awesome to see how much resemblance there is between the two as to how much they love the beach.

We’ve been Doing hard sand one direction then soft on the return. Definitely working out great for my hip recovery ❤️‍🩹 🤙🏽
Awesome to have Daisy to heal with …
