Zero maintenance. Creeping Charlie. Clover. Dandelion. Probably a dozen or more weed varieties. And no chemicals, at least for the past decade. And ya know, our lawn looks just great. by @davesstories

Back in 1987, we had seen enough powder-blue tuxes in wedding parties that we were determined to make our wedding “classic,” so we stuck with dark brown & black tuxes and a custom-made wedding dress. Those have held up pretty well over time, but no one mentioned that my mullet wouldn’t age as well. No matter…our love has not only aged well, but has gotten better with time. After 39 years of marriage, I can confidently say our love is still in style.

I don’t want to say he’s the “best” drummer in Minnesota music (I’ve been getting in enough trouble on the socials lately), but he’s definitely the most fun to watch. Richard Medek lays the beat down SO sweet for Erik Koskinen’s band. He’ll often be clutching more than sticks, smashing a cymbal with a tambourine, clutching maracas while he bangs the skins, or keeping rhythm on a bongo drum with one hand while the other handles the kit. All while looking absolutely joyful and in the groove. He might be the best, but he’s definitely my favorite. taken in Boats and Bluegrass Festival by @davesstories
