🏚️ $150,000 AT TAX DEED AUCTION… POTENTIALLY $300,000 AFTER RENOVATIONS! 👀💰

📍 449 Stonebridge Ct, Stone Mountain, GA

This property was acquired at the DeKalb County Tax Deed Auction in May 2025 for $150,000. It was occupied at the time.

Fast forward to my walkthrough… 👀

🐕 The entire house smelled like a dog kennel, front door to back door.

🪳 Active fleas throughout the property.

🗑️ A dumpster outside, with two dumpster divers leaving just as I arrived.

But where most people see a headache, I see OPPORTUNITY!

With the right updates, this property could potentially list for close to $300,000.

Now the question is: Sell it AS-IS or invest in the repairs to maximize the resale value? 🤔

Remember, $150K to $300K isn’t $150K in profit. You still have to account for renovations, holding costs, legal expenses and selling costs.

Overgrown from the street. Packed wall to wall inside. A lot of investors see this and close the tab.

Today, my mentees and I walked 65 Rogers St SE ahead of the June 2nd DeKalb Auction.

🏠 As-Is Value: $300,000
💰 Taxes Due: $8,085
🎯 Max Bid: $200,000

We don’t guess.

At the May 2026 DeKalb County Tax Sale, bidders were aggressively driving the price up on 2829 Ashbury Heights Rd… without recognizing it sits in a flood zone.

It sold for $9,000.

This is exactly why my process is:

Most people get emotional at the auction.
