POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

My solo show 00000 opens at @unionhallpgh on April 2, 2026. Large paintings and letterpress works. Reception from 6-9.

"Sometime in 2025, I became interested in old things. I found myself in the Musée Le Secq des Tournelles in Rouen, France, surrounded by centuries-old keys, chests, door knockers, and barber’s scissors, all fashioned in wrought iron. These items dated back to the 14th and 15th and 16th centuries. They hinted at mysteries—for example, the secret key of the Duke Christian Louis II of Mecklenburg-Schwerin could be dismantled and reshaped into a tool. Superficial understandings were not the whole story. Understanding was near, but still hidden. But more than that, these items provided proof that an idea and its physical embodiment could exist for centuries." by @david.bernabo

Dear algorithm, please be cool.

On Saturday, November 7, @how_things_are_made returns to OPEN at @thespaceupstairs for “Be Cool Algorithm,” an evening-length performance of nearly impossible sounds.

Special guests @stripochre, @t.se.ae , Montse Briceño, Ariel Xiu, @sticsbyair and @ali__sadeqi_ , with movement by @thepillowprojects .

Doors 6:30pm. Music 7 to 11pm. $15. Come and go as you please.

How Things Are Made is @what_musik, @david.bernabo , and @guaguanco127.

Several error messages, a skull, the moon, and one (1) basketball also appear in the promotional materials. They are not performing.

OPEN at The Space Upstairs is a series that invites the audience to drop in whenever.

Hopefully the algorithm will be cool. Sharing helps. taken in The Space Upstairs by @david.bernabo

Mmmmm feeling immense gratitude after this weekend’s Reiki + Drone VIII! 🙏🏽🙂‍↕️🫶🏽🕸️

We filled the room as friends, co-creators, lovers, dreamers, believers in a slow, caring & kind world. Offering Reiki felt like receiving, because Reiki is the energy of love, and love knows no “you” or “me.”

Sunday felt surreal to me. I’m proud of what WE have created & am amazed at how self-generative this event seems at this point. 8️⃣ times is no small potatoes!

Thank you to my amazing team…
✨ musicians: @david.bernabo & @guaguanco127 of @how_things_are_made — your soundscape was a true gift to receive.
✨ Reiki practitioners: @likhaoasis @blackramhealing & Belen, all level 2 attuned by @firstlightreiki — you make me a proud teacher!
✨ @nathandarity & @voodlevus of @navushouse — you & your home hold soo many healing experiences.
✨ all of our guests, both familiar with & new to Reiki — your trust is invaluable.

Keep an eye out for our next event — we hope you’ll enjoy it with us.

❤️‍🔥 THANK YOU! ❤️‍🔥 taken in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania by @david.bernabo

A new music video for "Pyramid House," the fourth song from Watererer's Sword Swipe Left Through Helmet.

Fun fact: The ending coda contains two systems of different lengths. One system follows two interlocking upright bass patterns and a second system follows the drum kit ( @pjroduta ). Percussion, piano, rhodes, and B3 organ then pick a system to follow. And then it ends.

Thanks for listening by @david.bernabo

Many, many thanks to @pjroduta and @eliweid and everyone at @baumbaumclub for putting on such a fun evening! And major thanks to everyone who came, listened to the new Watererer record, and picked up a copy! The record is live on Bandcamp (link in bio) and Subvert, but not streaming elsewhere due to ethical concerns. Something new coming later this week, too. Thanks!
