A Morning Above Ronda 💃

The whole idea behind this trip started with a screenshot—this Airbnb, this view.
Once I saw it, I knew flying here would be a dream 🥹

Perched right over El Tajo, the view from the terrace offers a completely unique perspective of the iconic bridge—one you simply can’t see from anywhere else.

Most of the trip was drenched in rain—about 70% of it, honestly ☔
But Ronda welcomed us with calm skies and golden light 🌄

That morning, my girlfriend brought breakfast out while I prepped the drone ☕🥐
I launched the FPV from the terrace, heart racing. The signal wasn’t great, and flying here meant taking a real risk. But the moment was just too good.

One clean dive across El Tajo—one of the most cinematic maneuvers I’ve ever pulled off.

Sunrise at Salto de la Novia 🌳🏞️

Hidden in Navajas, Castellón, this place holds a legend as powerful as its scenery. Salto de la novia gets its name from an old tradition: before marriage, the bride had to leap across the river. If she made it safely, the marriage would be blessed. If not… well, fate had other plans. 🌊💔

Flying here at sunrise was pure peace. The mist rising from the waterfall, the golden light brushing through the trees, the echo of the legend in the canyon… a perfect flight in a magical corner of Spain. 🧡🌄

This wasn’t just any event—it was a beautiful tribute to Pablo Hinojar, an incredible coach whose dedication, perseverance, and passion shaped this sport in so many ways. His impact was undeniable, and this event was a powerful way to honor everything he achieved. I feel truly grateful to have had the opportunity to capture it from the air.

Flying a mini FPV drone indoors for the first time at an event like this was a new challenge, but the result? Absolutely worth it. The mix of lights, music, and high-level gymnastics created a breathtaking show—something we don’t often see in this sport.

The entire event was incredibly well organized, and the tribute to Pablo was a huge success. Honoring his legacy in this way was truly moving, and I’m beyond happy to have been part of it.

Trying something different here, 5120x1080 format on Instagram! 😅 It’s interesting, but honestly I think FPV looks best in good old 16:9 horizontal 📽️. Way more natural and immersive for me.

This dive was from a hike around Anayet (not the peak itself). First time flying through the clouds and wow… the feeling is unreal. The way the mountain revealed itself mid-dive still gives me chills 🫶.

I just hope Instagram starts pushing horizontal formats more instead of only vertical ones, FPV is way more immersive that way 🔥.

What do you think, should I keep experimenting with formats like this, or stick to the classics? 👀

The Perfect Line of Sight 🎯

Same bridge, different angle 🌉 but what really makes this shot is the rock formations right behind it. I knew I wanted to dive them, but that only works if you’ve got a clear line of sight 📡.

After some scouting around, I finally found the perfect spot to stand, and honestly, that made all the difference. Flying here felt smooth and natural, like the environment itself was guiding the drone through the rocks ✨.

It’s moments like these when FPV feels less like flying a drone, and more like discovering a new way to see the world.

A Hidden Gem by Chance 🏛️ 🏞️

After flying and having breakfast in Finestres, we were back on the road to Castillo de Samitier. But then, by pure chance, we spotted this bridge from the car 🚗, and I instantly knew we had to stop (how strange, right?🤣).

Once there, we realized how beautiful the place really was, so we decided to go all the way down to the river. What we didn’t know was how difficult the descent would be 😵. A sketchy, almost vertical rocky path, more suited for goats than humans 🤣. Somehow we made it down, and it was 100% worth it. We had lunch by the river 🥪, went for a refreshing swim, chilled in the shade, and of course… flew some lipos 😉.

Right before I launched the drone, I even met a friendly group of hikers 🥾 who were curious about both the bridge and the drone. We chatted a bit, and they were honestly amazed by the fpv drone, but I’ll tell that part of the story in a next reel 👀.

Sometimes the best spots aren’t planned, they just find you 🙌

The Spanish Great Wall 🇪🇸🏯

This is Muralla de les Finestres, right on the border between Aragón and Catalonia. A hidden gem where the rocks rise in a straight line like an ancient fortress, that’s why people call it “The Spanish Chinese Wall”. Centuries ago, these formations protected a small hermitage and the abandoned village nearby (Finestres), and today they remain one of the most surreal landscapes in Spain.

Our plan was simple: arrive by dinner 🍽️, sleep nearby, and fly some packs at sunrise 🌅. But… reality had other plans 😅. We left late, had dinner an hour away, and the next morning started driving 🚗 through a rocky uphill road that looked more off-road than road. It was my first time in that situation, switching between 2nd and 1st gear back and forth, hoping not to stall the car or shred the tires in the middle of nowhere 🤣. Luckily, we had full rental insurance, but I really didn’t want to test it there…

We finally made it! A bit late for golden hour, but thanks to the horizon filled with caliche ⛰️ (that soft desert-like sand), the light was still gentle and perfect for flying. The funny thing is you can’t see Finestres from where you park, you need to hike up the next hill 🥾 to actually admire the full view. That’s where I flew my drone 📡, and honestly, it felt like one of those places where nature and history meet perfectly. Even my girlfriend was enjoying the view… while doing Sudoku ✏️📒 with the wall in front of her 🤣

Definitely worth the adventure 🙌

Chasing calm after sunset 🌴

Flying like a bird through the palm trees of El Palmeral de Alicante, a hidden gem that feels like an oasis inside the city.

This historic park was designed in the 20th century but has its roots in much older Islamic irrigation systems, which are still visible today in the form of water channels and small ponds scattered around the park. With hundreds of palm trees, wooden bridges, and peaceful paths, it’s one of the best places in Alicante to disconnect.

This video was recorded after sunset, in really low light, but the DJI O4 handled it surprisingly well. With some color work in DaVinci Resolve, I was able to lift the shadows and bring the scene back to life 🌙

This place is unreal 😍

Right after her running through the scene in one of the earlier takes 🏞️, she stopped in front of Salto de la Novia to admire the view 😍.

I was actually flying around trying to find her for another try… 🙄 but this peaceful moment happened instead 🤣

Sometimes the best clips are the ones you don’t even plan.

Different angle at Mascarat 🌉

These bridges at Ponts del Mascarat still managed to surprise me 😍. Even within a single session, changing the viewpoint reveals so much, the rock textures 🪨, the architectural contrast 🧱, and how perfectly they blend with the landscape. Such an epic spot to fly! 🚁

How low is too low? 😅

Just a peaceful sunset session… or at least that was the idea 🌅 Flying my custom-built 5 inch through olive trees and wide open fields, and while it’s less snappy than the GEPRC Vapor (lower KV motors), I honestly feel more in control with this one. Maybe it's because seems less floaty? Maybe it’s the O3 vs O4 difference? Can’t really tell, it just flies differently.

That said… the signal is questionable 😬 The stubby antenna is partly blocked by the frame, so in some lines (like this one) the video feed just vanishes when turning. I’ve kind of gotten used to it, switching to angle mode and punching out when needed 😅. Good training for when things get serious I guess?

And shoutout to DaVinci, it still surprises me how much color magic it can do. Really happy with how this one turned out 🧡

Mountain dives and surprise guests 🐐
While climbing up the side of the mountain with the GEPRC Vapor D5, I was focused on the dive line… only to realize later in the edit that I had an unexpected spectator: a goat frozen in place, staring at the drone like it had just seen a UFO 🤣

Flying this 5-inch beast for dives is pure adrenaline, but also tricky. Even at lower throttle, it pushes forward a lot, not ideal when you're aiming for a clean vertical line. Might have to tweak the motor output or just cut throttle completely next time. Still learning its flow 🔧⚙️

In the end, this spot turned out to be an awesome playground for testing and flying. Wide open air, steep drops, and even a curious goat 🏔️🚁
