Dear friends,

For the past 6 months, I’ve been supporting a small community in Mozambique 🇲🇿, Africa. My young friend Chinagana has been doing incredible work there, managing everything necessary to make community lunches possible a few times a week.

More than 200 children come from surrounding areas just to receive a plate of food. Some save half for dinner. Some even take leftovers home to their parents.

It doesn’t take much to create a real impact, $5, $10, $30… Whatever you feel comfortable contributing will be deeply appreciated.

Personally, I made a deal with myself: every time I go out at night, I donate the same amount I spent in BS the night before. If I can spend $100 on drinks, I can spend another $100 on rice and beans for the kids.

I truly believe it’s impossible to prosper while everyone around isn't prospering as well. Yet here we are, in 2026, still dealing with hunger and believing prosperity is about ourselves.

For many reasons, It had been a while since I last competed. And there was that thing about my new brown belt. The discomfort was there. Melbourne is cold, expensive and far from home. But the fears you don't face become your limit. I wasn't going to let that happen
