Turned Out Nice Again is the final collaboration between Martin Parr and Lee Shulman, celebrating a friendship built on years of working together and a shared passion for amateur family photography.

This project has culminated in a new photobook, with a forward by Susie Parr and published by @fraglich.publishing, 2026. Drawn from @The.Anonymous.Project archive, the book brings together a remarkable selection of photographs from across the UK 🇬🇧 by @davidbirkitt

We are so excited to finally share not only the redesign of our site, but to introduce you to a completely new era. For the first time ever, DMB has released our 15 year archive to the public in conjunction with the launch of our special projects arm @dmboriginals 💥

In addition to representing the most innovative artists in the industry, we know what’s truly needed now is discernment, curation, and genuine elevation. So we’re re-introducing ourselves as something we’ve been all along: an author of culture, a fountain of legacy, and an inimitable creative partner to lead on what’s next, all while looking through the lens of photo history. Because who better to know where we’re going than those who were instrumental in constructing where we’ve been?

Stay tuned as we take you through a peek of the archive throughout the week, and keep an eye out for some exclusive new legacy projects launching soon. Or just jump to the site and take a self-guided tour.

A huge thank you to @commonwealthprojects - we could not imagine better partners 🚀🚀🚀 by @davidbirkitt

In 2024 Martin photographed @georgemazonakis at his home during a trip to Athens, as part of a forthcoming project with @DMB_represents. We’re deeply saddened to hear of the unexpected death of Giorgos on 09 September.

After making portraits together in the day, Martin joined Giorgos that evening backstage ahead of a bouzoukia, where Martin had a great time photographing Giorgos’s performance until 4am, capturing his relationship with the crowd and the traditional trays of flowers thrown onto the stage in appreciation.

Here is a look at a selection of photographs from that day 🧡
