The B8 doesn’t just sound incredible. The Livery is a tribute to contemporary art and high-performance engineering.

Inspired by the geometry of motion and the iconic colors of the Yellowbird, the livery brings both worlds together.

For the design, OPTIMA brought together @aloisaruf and @davidevirdisss. The result speaks for itself.

Crossing 5 countries in the space of a handful of days is by itself kind of surreal. Doing it in cars that have a special meaning in your automotive brain is absolutely priceless.

Things I’ve learned on this trip:
- Sitting in an NSX for 7 hours doesn’t break your back.
- The sound of a V8 Vantage at full chat should be recommended by doctors.
- A Giulia Quadrifoglio is lovely to look at, pulls like a train but it’s a tad understeery.
- If ever want to doubt French fog, don’t.
- No matter how little you know a group of car enthusiasts, they are never strangers. by @davidevirdisss

I wouldn’t be Italian if I didn’t have a healthy obsession with the Fiat Panda.

@fa_bar’s example was waaaaaay too tasty to leave naked. This is what I came up with when I was asked to dress it up for the @tutto.bene.hillclimb.

The extreme Italian summer heat played a number on me. I started to imagine what a DBR9 hatchback would look like. Then I remembered that such a thing already exist. It’s the Fiat Grande Punto Super 2000.

Presenting AGTZ Twin Tail Commission #19.

Some liveries speak of the future. This one speaks of the track.

Commission #19 draws its spirit from the Alpine A441 - the French Group 5 prototype that battled through the 1974 European 2 Liter Sports Car Championship. A silhouette built for speed, reborn as a soul for the Twin Tail.

Finished in La Sarthe Blue, its bespoke livery wraps body and rims alike, punctuated by additional removable stickers - a nod to the liveries that once raced through the night, always ready to be reconfigured, reinterpreted.

Step inside, and the racing heritage continues in a different register. Grey Artemide leather meets grey and red Alcantara, stitched by hand in red, grey and silver thread - a quiet echo of the exterior's duality, carried into every seam. Satin-finish carbon completes the interior, adding a calmer, more restrained accent in contrast to the boldness of the exterior.

One livery, born on a racetrack decades ago.
One soul, alive again today.

I grew up looking at the Morandi Bridge and its staggering presence and industrial design is definitely a factor that played into my love and appreciation for anything design. I won’t touch on the dynamic of its collapse or what went so terribly wrong that lead to the tragedy that happened 8 years ago.
