Extremely floored and humbled that I won the β€žBest Sound Designβ€œ award for my choral score/sound design for β€žZoonβ€œ (by @jonatanschwenk) at this years @ottawa.animationfestival - It’s one of the best animation festivals I’ve been to and one of the very few that have an award specifically for sound. I went for the first time 9 (!) years ago, when β€žWindβ€œ by @robloebel was in competition. Thanks @ottawa.animationfestival - this award means s lot to me! …And Backflip by @nikitadiakur (sound yours truly) won best design! 🍾 taken in Ottawa, Ontario by @davidkamp

Wow, what a moment! πŸ† ECO BEAT has won the Jury Award in the Commissioned Film category at @annecyfestival! From the very beginning, our goal was to turn a complex sustainability topic into a film that is fun, accessible and memorable. We also wanted to spark conversations through humor, joyful animation and captivating sound and music. A huge thank you to everyone who made this possible, especially @matthiashendrickx_fischer, @davidkamp and the team at @vorarlbergergemeindeverband. Thank you, @annecyfestival! This recognition means so much to us. #annecy #filmfestival #anmation #bioabfall by @davidkamp

Two years ago I made this short, in the hopes that it would be used as a classic old school movie intermission within a short film program. An audio-visual collaboration with the brilliant music and sound of @davidkamp πŸ‘οΈ You can watch the whole movie on my @vimeo link in bio πŸ‘οΈ In the words of Jim Henson: I was interested in the visual image for its own sake. From the simple act of drawing a line, to the complex structures of animation. produced by @boddahbudapest @ulpiusgavroche by @davidkamp
