There is a very old and spooky vibe to Beekman Arms. Very dark, woody, musty yet not gross musty quality. The kind of place a real life ghost story might take place.

Unfortunately, most of Belle Haven is gated. So I couldn't drive through or take pictures. But I've admired this Greenwich neighborhood for years, literally. I've fashioned some of my mini Christmas villages and elaborate floor plans after some of these impeccable gems of homes. These photos are from the inner webs, and thus you can get a real sense of the kind of money, OLD money, these residents come from! So much beauty, so much wealth, so many landscapers who probably feel very blessed to be working in this town!

Deep inside Greenwich Point Park is a lush and magical Holly Grove! All freaking holly trees! Helen Binney, a native of Old Greenwich, was a politician in the first half of the 1900s and sources say she disliked...wait for it...get ready....billboards. Huh?! Girl please. In fairness though, I guess things that affected the community back in those days were pretty different by todays standards. I'm sure I'm missing something. But anyway, beautifully appointed natural land 💚❤️
