Wow, two months in Nagano just flew by! I managed to drive over 7000km, visited Nagano, Yamanashi, Gunma, and Niigata prefectures - and lots of soba and curry along the way! Really enjoyed being out in nature and enjoying the insane greenery everywhere I went. And I realize there’s so much more I need to see, whether in the fall or even the winter (when I plan on visiting so many onsen). Thank you, Nagano! taken in Nagano Prefecture, Japan by @davidmenkes

Went out for sushi and had a blast - really great folks and managed to make somewhat of a decent conversation. I explained I was doing Toji (hot spring therapy) and the chef recommended a place for me to check out tomorrow about 20 mins away. And I will! When I was walking back to my hotel in the rain, I remembered I wanted to take a picture. There’s something about these smaller towns in the rain that I absolutely love. Hopefully you get somewhat of a vibe from this. taken in Hita, Oita by @davidmenkes
