My muse returned from L.A., and @tozr and I spent several hours in the studio exploring new looks; this is just one of those sets. Victoria was visiting to promote a short film titled “Disc,” a 14-minute piece directed by Blake Winston and co-written by Victoria that deals with an awkward crisis in a hotel room following a work-conference hookup. Spent an afternoon at our downtown studio with Lizzy, working through her first round of actor headshots, and left with a set that runs from warm and open to quiet and intense. @christinereneemiller brought the best out of her with her direction too, but honestly the camera loved her and the stillness she brought along was quite lovely. taken in New York, New York by @davidpexton

Back in February. New York’s winter had been brutal. But this day wasn’t, quite. One of those that hovers around freezing without ever properly committing. Which compared to some of the other days felt mildly warm.

So @malayalimaharani and I walked East Williamsburg and Bushwick for a couple of hours, using the leftover snow as a backdrop, a playground, some shutters in the graffitied areas of Brooklyn’s many industrial backdrops. Love the way her personality and clothes pop against the humdrum and overcast environment by @davidpexton
