That was mega… our mugs were certainly filled with the tea that makes you grateful… 🍵 💟

first thank you to @_perila & @motion_ward for coming all this way - we hope your tail end tour performances will stay with you like they will stay with us :’D. And of course @mrmistryy @anushas.pov for gracing the beginning and end of our church stage 🎶

@sp.4udio carried us through every peak and valley. 🔉

Thank you @pyrotek__ for the perfect live projection visuals ✴️, as well as @mikaladwyer for her lamps which bound the space in a spell ✨

@greenhousestudios_sydney were the greatest hosts one could ask for.

For our first event we were reminded that it truly takes a village, or a city. Thank you Ally, Bryce, Charlie, Ella, Leanne, Mimi & Nahar.

‘’’radio roundup’’’

Thank you to @grasps_ (the best to ever do it, the housemate of my dreams) for asking me to guest on his @hkcronline show ‘Field of Dreams’ which aired on Monday night. This episode has a lot of old and new nostalgias - twinkly moments reminisced upon with Christian of the 2010s, combined with a new ensemble of Midwest-y, ‘slowcore’-y, post-[redacted]-y, and folk-y plucks and strums that hit a soft spot. get emotional!🪟

and another, but not the last thank you to @anushas.pov @lillygrainger for inviting me on to soft launch @sugarglider.radio earlier in March. a lot of my favourite songs on there it’s a blessing to be a part of the beginning of what will be such a fruitful platform. ‘sound-design’-y, beats-y, trip-y - and I’m proud to play a lot of so called Australian / local music from now and then :-) 🪞

until next time

Tail Ends Presents 10 Years of Motion Ward featuring JS, Perila (Live), anusha & DJ Mistry for an evening of introspective, listening-focused music.

@motion_ward

@anushas.pov

Headed by Jesse Sappell (JS), Motion Ward has cemented itself as a foundational pillar in the contemporary underground electronic music scene, stringing together otherwise indiscriminate sounds to create its sui generis sound world. Hazy textures, swirling symphonies and intricate rhythms that dance between delicate and distorted are bundled together, forming an extensive discography that has seen the likes of Pontiac Streator, Ulla & Hysterical Love Project.

St. Petersburg-born, Berlin-based Perila is an artist, performer, DJ and poet, whose fluency across creative spheres have positioned her at the forefront of experimental music. Unorthodox recording techniques, finessed textures, and a deep understanding of space comprise her sonic palette, creating evocative compositions that envelop and lull into the unending abyss; capturing the attention of Waking Life, INA grm and Mutek, to name a few. A serial self-releaser, her music has also featured on heavy-hitting labels, including but not limited to The Trilogy Tapes, Smalltown Supersound and Longform Editions.

Supported by local favs anusha and DJ Mistry, who are no strangers to spatial sensibilities, gracing stages and airwaves beloved by many in Eora and beyond.

I hope you think of me not just as someone who travelled to Korea with their dear friends, but also as someone who just did a guest mix for M5.

Thank you @lillygrainger for inviting me on the final episode of this beautiful and considered show. I don’t know what I’ll do on my Mondays without it :’). Listen back on fbi.radio or Lilly’s Soundcloud soon ❤️❤️❤️ by @davidsuyasa
