Happy Birthday to my little Beanie! 🐕‍🦺

She turned 4 years old this week! She has given my family so much: unconditional love, laughter, comfort, warmth, protection and compassion. We are all better for having her in our lives. She’s sassy, opinionated, so smart and very funny! Bean is definitely the boss.

🙏🏽💓🥰✨

I’m so excited to make my debut at the Telus Studio at the Chan Centre on October 24!

I’ll be celebrating some of the incredible women who helped shape the jazz vocal tradition, including Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Sarah Vaughan, and more. These women have left such a lasting mark on the music, and I can’t wait to pay tribute to them with this wonderful band.
Joining me on stage:

@chrissigerson – Piano
@jon_bentley__ – Tenor Sax
Craig Scott – Drums
André Lachance – Acoustic Bass

October 24 | 8-10 PM
The Chan Centre, Telus Studio

Many cities across this fair country of ours have dedicated and awesome blues festivals (I had the privilege of playing at a bunch of them this summer!) and we got to wondering – why isn’t there a blues festival in Vancouver? Coming up with no good reason, we decided we should start one! So we are very excited to present to you the first of many Vancouver Winter Blues Fests!

The inaugural edition is 2 days at the Wise Hall – Fri Dec 4th & Sat Dec 5th, and we have what we think is a pretty great lineup with a pretty liberal reading of what “blues” is. We are a big tent!

Night 1 — Friday, Dec 4
* Secondhand Dreamcar (Edmonton) – @secondhanddreamcar
* Honeybear, the Band (Vancouver) – @honeybear_the_band
* Sinéad X Sanders (Vancouver) – @sineadxsanders

Night 2 — Saturday, Dec 5
* The Harpoonist (Vancouver Island) – @theharpoonist
* Dawn Pemberton B3 Quartet (Vancouver) – @dawnpemberton
* Marcus Trummer (Calgary) – @marcustrummermusic

Tickets on sale now!
