watermelon book stack 🍉✨🤍

featuring pro-🍉 authors (to my knowledge).

over the past few months, i’ve been rallying the book community to stand in solidarity with 🍉. right now, innocent people are being deprived of basic necessities - clean water, food, shelter - and they need our help more than ever.

let’s use our platforms for good. please consider skipping a book, a coffee, a takeaway, or a new skincare or makeup product, and instead donate the cost to 🍉.

we are supporting Hala & her family, (@bookish.forlife) a fellow reader and book content creator, as well as @medicalaidpal and @thepcrf - two vital charities ensuring access to aid.

head to @readersforpalestine for more information and content ideas. 🤍✨🕊️

the books that got me out of a book slump 💜📚

as the story goes, katie hadn’t picked up a book in over a year…

until one random evening, her favourite book caught her eye

she picked up gothikana and suddenly, she was back in the world of Corvina and Vlad once again

but after feeling lost when she finished their story, she picked up something new…

rose in chains

after a slow start, she suddenly couldn’t put it down. the characters, the SLOW BURN, the magical plots and the rebellions… she was hooked.

she genuinely can’t stop thinking about this book

and yes, book two is already pre-ordered

hello hello

so it’s been awhile…

as some of you may know, i got my first ‘big girl’ job in marketing & content creation.

unfortunately, working full time in social media has resulted in no energy or motivation to do social media in my free time.

plus, i’ve been SO tired. i’ve tried to pick up books, but my eyes just feel so heavy.

i’ve been itching to make a come back, whether it’s life style content, connection with overs or sharing my marketing journey.

few updates
- 2026 was the year for concerts!! i went to see ariana grande, bruno mars and the weeknd
- ive started learning to drive AGAIN. also recently passed my theory
- im a mother to my crazy cat Lana
- i’ve also been shortlisted for a handful of awards, as well as being highly commended

im really grateful to be where i am today, and i couldn’t have do it without the booksta community, this social accoint, friends and supporters. thank you 🫶 by @dazyreads

add to your bookish bucket list for pretty sprayed edges and special editions 📍📚💗

this is my favourite bookshop by far i have ever visited.

i love the bookish gifts like book-shaped pasta and mugs, and the fact that german standard editions all have sprayed edges. 🥺

i always go to see if they have any unique editions of my favourite books to display on my shelf.

they also have plenty of uk & us editions so you can pick your fave cover 🤭👀

i hope that every reader gets the chance to visit a german bookstore!!

a dream come true 🩵☁️

i was so kindly gifted holiday ever after by my fave @hannahgraceauthor 🥺 #pr #gifted

icebreaker was one of the very first romance books i ever read, and i completely fell in love with the series.

the emotional themes, the swoon-worthy male leads, the friendships, and of course, the incredible character journeys. ✨

i’m beyond grateful to have been gifted this advance copy, and i cannot wait to dive in.

thank you so much @littlebrownbookgroup_uk #pr #gifted taken in BOOKSTA by @dazyreads

join us for #redstackformajd supporting @maj.dfamily ❤️

Doha and her husband, Adi, have two beautiful children - Majd (7) and Tim (2).

once the proud owner of a cake business, Doha has now lost everything. their home has been destroyed, Adi was injured, food is scarce, and the family is left struggling for survival.

right now, their most urgent need is a tent - a safe space where Majd and Tim can sleep, play, and simply be children again.

the cost is at least $1,000, and every contribution brings them closer to safety.

❤️ i will personally donate £1 (up £50) to Doha and her beautiful family for every red stack created in solidarity.

❤️ an anonymous donor will donate €0.5 (up to €10) for every stack.

❤️ @wchereads will donate $1 per post (up to $100) until oct 1st.

❤️ @kieranjanebooks will donate $1 (up to $50) for every stack.

❤️ @ataleoftwolitties will donate $1 (up to $20) for every stack.

❤️ @koalateareads will donate $1 (up to $30) for every stack.

❤️ @bisforbooksandbisexuals will donate $1 CAD (up to $25) for every stack.

please use the hashtag #redstackformajd and don’t forget to tag me so it counts.

if anyone else is able to match donations, it would mean the world.

let’s come together for Majd, Tim, and their family. ❤️ taken in BOOKSTA by @dazyreads

one year without you alex, and i still miss you just the same. 💜

i had a lovely trip to the midlands to spend time with my friends and remember alex, one year after her passing.

i’ll always remember alex as a bright, bubbly girl with a fire in her soul and a true talent as an artist.

she loved the dance floor, baking delicious treats and snuggling with her cats. 🐈🥘💃

in honour of alex, we’ll do our best to keep her memory alive and ensure her legacy lives on, from campaigning for young people with cancer to fighting for more research into rarer but deadly cancers. 🎗️

without the power of social media, alex may not have been able to go home and spend her final few weeks with her family in the place she grew up. so thank you ever so much for all the support last year from my book friends. it means the world to me. 🥺✨
