DC16’s East Bay team proudly stood with NUHW members at Kindred Hospital Bay Area as they fought for a fair contract, safe staffing, and better patient care. We stand together because an injury to one is an injury to all. When workers unite, our collective voice becomes stronger.

One union, one family, one fight! @nuhwunion @goiupat @tjs_217 by @dc16iupat

Shout out to our Brother Jaime Villalobos of Local Union 507! 👊 Since 2004, Jaime has worked as a Drywall Finisher and proudly built a 22-year career in our Union, now serving as a Foreman. Before joining, he worked non-union and was encouraged by a friend to give the union a try. The pay, health insurance, and retirement benefits have made a huge difference for Jaime and his three children. He recently bought a home, something he credits his union career with making possible. Outside of work, Jaime enjoys playing sports, especially volleyball. 🏐 @goiupat by @dc16iupat

DC16’s VAC volunteers and East Bay team recently joined forces at Runestone Ranch, helping tape and finish the drywall in cabins built to support first responders. Runestone Ranch is a California nonprofit dedicated to preventing burnout through peer support, wellness retreats, prevention programs, and practical resources. We are proud to use our skills to help create a place where first responders can recharge, reconnect, and receive support when they need it most. This is what union solidarity and community service are all about! @goiupat @tjs_217 @runestoneranch

DC16 is proud to stand with the Southern Nevada Building Trades Unions at the HYLO Park action. The City of North Las Vegas sold this valuable property to a developer for just $2,000, and the project is now using non-union general contractor Moorefield Construction. We are standing together to demand responsible development that protects local workers, supports fair wages, and upholds area labor standards across Southern Nevada! @goiupat @snbtu1960 by @dc16iupat
