3PAC x SIDE: B - “Unfavorable Alternatives” 💭

this is Track 2 of my new three part series 3 PAC and it’s in combination with my other docu-series SIDE: B

I was initially working on SIDE: B vol. III for the last 2 years. The title Unfavorable Alternatives felt so right because of the tone and theme of that project.

then in September of this year I suffered another lower body injury which complete derailed that project. During the time I spent at doctors appointments, contemplating what’s next for my life and mentally suffering an existential crisis (I’m so seeious). I decided to ultimately blend these two stories to tell one complete picture.

Unfavorable Alternatives is my best title to date.. there’s also more story to tell in regards to it.

but for now.. this is my life on display. I hope you enjoy it.

YESSUH! We made it in @cultureconcollective #CCNYCCreativeClass of 2026 📌

Storytelling was my first love. As a kid in 2007 I started mixing beats on early garage band, creating posters on early photoshop and creating stop motion films on early iMovie.

As I matured as a man, the love stayed and evolved into filmmaking and telling stories of triumph and failure. That kid back in ‘07 would’ve never knew his love would’ve evolved into being recognized and celebrated during BLACK HISTORY MONTH ✊🏽

it’s not just me though, thank you to @cultureconcollective for lifting up and celebrating Black Voices of all creative mediums from everywhere.

The culture is in good hands this year - shout out to the entire class 🥂 taken in Brooklyn, New York by @ddamez

‘lot of moments..

couple stills from the new project coming. couple stills from an older project I just liked enough to edit differently.

it’s been a quieter.. slower year in terms of releasing.
but please believe we’ve been crafting.

there’s a belief that there’s nothing happening
if social media doesn’t see the making of it.

I share enough, but not even remotely close to what goes on
before any project is released.

the key thing to remember is that EYE am more:
if you respect the hustle then there’s more of it you don’t see.

I am adjusting to 30.
and in that adjustment I’m realizing one real thing..

all them hurdles, all of them challenges, all of them injuries, all of the lack of preparation, all of that being caught off guard, all of them people I dropped, all of of that letting go, all of my 20’s.. prepared me for this man that I looked in the mirror today.

all I know is you need to find your joy and be intentional about curating it.

been a lot of movement this week:
- a whole ‘lot of running
- reading and writing
- finding my center
- being around the fellas (appreciate yall)
- and having a bunch of needed conversations

had to remind myself that I am indeed the architect of my life.
and if I want it to be a certain way, I need to intentionally curate that.

3PAC Track 5 - “Ghost in the Shell”

I’ve been living my life.
which means I’ve been reflective about my life.

as I produce and think about the core themes in this next story my mind circles around on thing.. emotional labor.

this series explores the relationship between my mind and body. and until now I hadn’t given much thought into what happens to your body when you store trauma in it and try to access it like an energy drink.. like it’s sustenance.

why are you so motivated by doubt, disbelief, and people who dislike you? why have you stored the memory of every person that opposed you and centered it in your mind?.. does strife move you more than love does and how much of it can your body hold?

this Track’s tone will probably be the heaviest in the series.
there’s a lot of story to tell here.

nevertheless I put this visualizer together to build some anticipation for this installment of 3PAC.

in honor of the 1 year anniversary of my latest injury I wanted to celebrate with a Director’s Cut of 3PAC Track 4 - “Solitary Confinement”.

filming and bringing my story to life has been such an interested journey. there’s my life which is obviously on the screen. but then there’s the thoughts and ideas I have behind the screen when creating these projects.

I’ll probably do more sit down reactions to key scenes throughout this month.

the key scenes we’re taking a look at is the scene in my childhood bedroom leading into “For The Third Time Interlude”.

I’ve mentioned how the CREED Franchise has been such a big inspiration as I navigate completing this series/story.
