Exlicon Lock has been recognised as a Winner in the 2026 Australian Good Design Awards.

Exlicon Lock - Perspective Drafting Tools To Unlock Creativity has been recognised in the 2026 Australian Good Design Awards, Australia's longest-running international design awards, for excellence in design, innovation and impact.

This year's Awards are presented under the theme Design that Leads, celebrating the critical role of design in navigating complexity, driving innovation and creating positive change. At a time of unprecedented social, environmental and technological change, this year's theme recognises that good design is more than an outcome, it is a powerful way of thinking, imagining and acting.

Exlicon Lock received a prestigious 2026 Australian Good Design Award Winner in the Product Design Sport and Lifestyle category.

JURY COMMENTS

"The Jury recognises the Exlicon Lock as a simple and clever solution to the niche challenge of drawing perspectives. The beautifully crafted tool set helps users learn and understand complex geometry through its endless combinations, from simple shapes to complete graphic patterns, making it perfect for all skill levels. The Jury was impressed by the intuitive interlocking mechanism between the Square, Pentagon and Hexagon tools, which enables users ranging from students to professionals to create accurate perspectives with ease and flexibility. The team is congratulated on developing a versatile, palm-sized stainless steel tool that bridges a market gap for practical, user-friendly perspective drawing guides."

Before the colour, the stitching, or the final cut, a page often needs to be marked out.

The TG Tool from the Exlicon L Black set is built for that. It has three groups of golden-ratio spirals for a composition that grows in proportion, golden triangles in several sizes when a shape needs to sit more cleanly, a parabolic curve for smoother flowing lines, and angle markings from 0° to 108° for measuring, aligning, and marking what stays.

That mix makes it useful beyond sketching — mandalas, journal pages, pattern studies, and arts-and-crafts layouts where you want to mark a cut with more certainty.

We hope it gives more room to try ideas, and a little less hesitation before the first cut or line ✏️🖤

Proportion is easier to keep when you don’t have to rebuild it every time.
The Triangle Tool from the Exlicon L Black set puts seven groups of golden triangles on both sides of one compact disc, with markings that help you find the right size quickly. You also get a 10 cm / 3.5 inch measurements and a circle radius up to 90 mm — useful when a drawing needs both triangular structure and a clean circular frame.

We hope it becomes one of those tools you reach for in the middle of a page, not just at the beginning 🖤

The TG Tool from the Exlicon L Black set helps different kinds of art — golden-ratio spirals to guide the flow, triangles in a few useful sizes, a parabolic curve when a line needs to stay smooth, and angle markings from 0° to 104° for quicker alignment.

We hope it makes more kinds of drawing feel possible: mandalas, sketchbook studies, geometric patterns, and anything else that starts with a clearer structure ✏️🖤

Repeating a circle should feel like part of the drawing without being an annoying & repetitive task.

The Circle Tool from the Exlicon L Black set gives you 112 radii to work with, three golden-ratio circle groups, and 17 small circles from 1 mm to 10 mm. Use it for mandalas, journal pages, logos, pattern studies, or any artwork that needs a cleaner circular structure minus repeatedly setting up compasses. The radiating lines and 95 mm reach help keep those layouts consistent once the first mark is down.

We hope tools like this make more room for imagination — less time measuring, more time actually drawing ✏️🖤

Some tools are only useful at the start of a drawing. This one stays useful all the way through 🖤

The TG Tool from the Exlicon L Black set brings three groups of golden-ratio spirals, golden triangles in several sizes, a parabolic curve for cleaner flowing lines, and angle markings from 0° to 104°. Together, they make it easier to set a composition, check a measurement, and keep the page from drifting off proportion ✏️

Start with the spiral, then let the drawing follow 🌀✏️

Use the golden-ratio spiral to place the composition first, then outlines in pencil so the rest of the piece has somewhere clear to grow. That’s exactly what the Exlicon L Black TG tool is good for: three spiral groups, golden triangles, a clean parabolic curve, and angle markings from 0° to 104° when you need the layout to feel considered before the details go in.
