On Thursday, February 12, 2026, I had the honour of attending the 2nd annual London Police Service Chief’s Gala at RBC Place London (@rbcplacelondon).

The evening recognized the incredible work of the London Police Service (@lpsmediaoffice) and its multifaceted team, and this year the raised funds, awareness and supported three incredible organizations - Bethanys Hope Foundation (@bethanyshope), Victim Services of Middlesex-London (@victimservicesmlondon) and the 2026 Special Olympics Ontario (@specialolympicsontario) School Championships, which London, along with the London Police Service and Western University (@westernuniversity) is honoured to be hosting this week.

This week from Tuesday, May 26 - Thursday, May 28, 2026, London welcomes over 1,100 high school aged student-athletes, coaches and their families from across Ontario as they compete in five sports: basketball, bocce, floorball, track & field, and soccer.

Best wishes and good luck to all who are competing - may you have fun, while making lifelong friendships and memories, no matter the outcome, always remember that you are recognized and are representing your school and community at this prestigious provincial championship. I am so proud of you!! 💚💜❤️

Posted @withregram • @pennies4preemie Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Awareness Month begins today as we welcome September.

Unfortunately, many families aren’t aware of the NICU until it often suddenly and unexpectedly becomes their baby’s home, from a few days to several months.

We recognize the critical role of the NICU and the incredible multidisciplinary team that makes it the life-saving and life-changing place that it is.

We spent 4 and a half months in the NICU - we simply would not be here without the NICU and those that help make this place home.

Thank you.

Posted @withregram • Pennies For Preemies (@pennies4preemie) is devastated to learn that an infant in Southwestern Ontario who was born prematurely has died after contracting measles from their mother before birth, following a statement released this afternoon by Dr. Kieran Moore, Ontario’s Chief Medical Officer of Health.

The infant’s mother had not been vaccinated with the measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) vaccine.

While measles may have been a contributing factor in both the infant’s premature birth and death, the infant also faced other serious medical complications unrelated to the measles virus.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family during this incredibly difficult time. We send our thanks to the dedicated health care professionals who cared for both the mother and infant with compassion and expertise.

We encourage all who are eligible to receive the MMR vaccine to do so - to help protect yourself, to help protect those too little to receive the vaccine, and to help protect those who are unable to receive the vaccine due to their medical condition(s). by @deanaruston
