Happy Birthday to the very, very best to do it. The most selfless, caring person there is, an excellent wife and the greatest mother to our five children. Constantly putting not just us but many others before yourself day in day out, i have no idea where we would be without you, we are so grateful for you and everything you do.

39, how we got here from just a couple of kids who stuck at it i dont know, every twist & turn life has thrown our way, every bump in the road we hit we have done it together, if we got this life again another 100 times i would still want to do it with you.

This one means a lot 🤍
Almost 18 years ago, when we were all still kids ourselves, we watched our friends experience the unimaginable, losing their son, Alfie. 🕊️

I think I can speak for so many of us when I say that we were, and still are, incredibly inspired by Dean and Charlene’s strength in the face of something no parent should ever have to go through.

What followed was something incredibly powerful. Their loss brought people together. It gave people a reason to do something positive, to support others and, in doing so, keep Alfie’s name, his memory and his legacy very much alive.

It was an absolute pleasure to sit down with my friends, reminisce about all those years, hear some of the stories again and make this video to share with you all. There was plenty of laughter, a few emotional moments and so many memories.

17th February next year will be Alfie’s 18th birthday.

So for them, it feels like the perfect time for one final challenge.

17KM. 17 DAYS.

And this time, we want to bring as many of you with us as possible.
There’ll be different routes, hikes and plenty of opportunities to join us.
It’s not a race. It doesn’t matter how fast you run, or whether you walk some or all of it.
It’s about getting outside, challenging ourselves, doing something good and coming together as a community.

So please take five minutes to watch the video, hear the story, see where this journey began and what’s coming next.

Absolute belter of a day watching another one of the gang tie the knot. Wishing @jamesbrom @amyr1989 a lifetime of health & happiness. Thankyou for having us, feeling very lucky to be watching all our friends getting married and living their happy ever afters. Tonight i had the honour of driving our Rimini to her prom, officially the last page of her school chapter.

Rimini - me and your mum are so, so proud of you. You have smashed school to bits and we are looking forward to seeing whats next for you.

We know your expected grades are very good, which is great but for me you have nailed far more important things already in your life.

Strong & determined, you know exactly what you want and are not afraid to go after it,

Loyal, you are a great friend, you have good morals & will speak up if you think something is wrong.

Kind & caring, you like to make sure everybody is ok & will go out of your way for people, just the right amount, you also dont take any shit.

Big thankyou to the best in their businesses megan boyne for doing her hair, Bryony herbert for doing her make up & Thimbelina for making her dress ❤️

I also managed to get my hands on her dream car.

12 years on sunday i will of been married to this beaut, celebrating a couple of days early because of fathers day & the fact that for the first time in nearly 3 years all 4 kids are sleeping out for the night at the same time.

Time on our own now is few & far between but i wouldnt change that, the kids come first, its how it is & how it should be.

12 anniversarys, weve been to Ibiza for one, had spa weekends away, even had a private picnic once where we got married but this years slightly different, i asked her what do you want to do, where do you want to go? She said Dean, lets go for some nice food then go home, get in bed & chill, have a lie in tomorrow.

Not a problem at all my lass, thatll do for me.
Happy Anniversary charlene 12 years down forever to go. They say the most important descion you will ever make is who you marry and ive absolutley nailed it. Thankyou for every single second.

Happy 40th Birthday @nat86b i had a massive smile on my face making this reel, looking back over all the memorys weve made. So fortunate for an unbelievable childhood together to then go on and give the kids the same thing. Freezing cold newyears eves in Butlins, fending off seagulls in cala romani, Ibiza, Tsilivi, kardamena, Paris, costa teguise, the list goes on and on. Your famous sunday dinners, BBQs that turn into one to many, being side by side at each others weddings and making each other God parents of the kids. A kind hearted thoughful person who weve loved doing life with. Happy Birthday, Love all the Macs. ❤️

Absolutley devestated to had to of had our Rocky put to sleep this morning. Poor little fellas discs had gone in his back so he lost complete use of his back legs. 13 years in the family originally coming as a Christmas present for Rimini and kaci when they were just 2 & 3 years old. We will miss you loads little Rock, i hope your waiting at the door for us when we meet again, just like you did everyday at home. 💙 by @deano_mcquade

Happy Birthday Alfie McQuade. I cant quite believe today would of been your 17th. Tough one this morning, you should of been coming downstairs to your very own little car, maybe even heading out on your first driving lesson. 17 years is a long time but i can remember every single little part of the day you were born and i see the little signs you leave us everywhere 💙

Frustration, Anger, Sadness i feel them all but Greatfullness out weighs the lot of them, Greatfull i got to meet you, Greatfull i got to see you, Greatfull i got to hold you, Greatfull that your My Lad.

Another Christmas Day Done & Dusted. Woke up with that same sinking empty feeling thats been there for the last 17 but the show must go on for the rest of these kids of ours and @charlenemcq smashed it out of the park again, all of them got exactly what they wanted. Spoilt? Maybe, but when youve got one missing round that dinner table you just want to give the rest of them everything possible & we work mega hard to do so. It seems to hit so much harder this time of year when your missing someone who should still be here, if your reading this and feel the same i hope your ok, keep putting one foot infront of the other and keep moving forward.

Can't get over these pictures our little Sonny's had done today, I wasn't sure how this was going to go, this lad is an absolute wrecking ball of energy & very rarely sits still for more than a few minutes, @booie88 from @littlememories2025 is an absolute natural and had him posing from the start with her little attention techniques, would highly recommend for any photography needs. 💙 by @deano_mcquade
