Sytes is making some noise! When the stock market made it easy for counterparties to transact (retail and Wall Street), the equity markets exploded in volume and participants, growing the industry as a whole. We want to make the same thing happen in commercial real estate. Excited to keep pushing the goal modernizing deal making. Been a rollercoaster per all startups. And it still is one! by @deansloves

1 year ago today Sytes had 0 seeking site listings and no customers

now?

20,000 seeking site listings in all 50 states and almost 300 tenants

(Including tenants that use us for their national expansion like Dutch Bros Coffee, @popeyes, @modwash, @fastsigns, @mcalistersdeli, @Huck's Food and Fuel, @dogtopia, The Learning Experience, @MySalonSuite & many more)

It all started with the conference we are about to attend tomorrow, @retailliveusa Nashville

I had two meetings set, one with Matthew Mehring and the other with Aaron Zucker (shout out to Kendall Whitaker for putting that one together)

My pitch was ridiculous:

A marketplace where tenants could list exactly where they need new locations down to the 1 mile radius across the country

Landlords and developers could sign up and send them upcoming vacancies, pre-development sites and get land under contract based on where the tenants indicated they wanted to be

Deals that would have never happened before would become reality just because these tenants were posting where they wanted a new location

it would be powered by AI and filter all their site submissions so tenants would only see sites that met their needs perfectly and it would all be on auto-pilot. It would even handle site submission EMAIL'S for them automatically

I knew it sounded nuts and they probably thought so too...

but for some reason they both took a massive flyer on us and decided to start creating some seeking site listings by drawing a few circles on a map or sending us their market plan.

and just like that we had McAlister's Deli, Jamba, Auntie Anne's, Cinnabon, Carvel & Schlotzky’s

That was the spark that lead us to tomorrow...

Life is truly crazy

I never in a million years thought Sytes would be in this position....we started with absolutely nothing except a crazy pipe dream by @deansloves
